Hi! Popping in to say that I really love your blog and your posts are always a plus on my day but I also wanted to ask you what do you think about the 1958 french movie of Les Mis? (probably you already made a post about it, but I wasn't able to find it in your tag)

I think it’s definitely worth watching?

I am reluctant to say more, because apparently there are actually at least a couple slightly different versions, and I haven’t seen them all! I don’t wanna say “I especially like X scene” and then the version you see doesn’t have it! 

(that said: I like Fantine’s deathbed scene, and especially the cut to the crowd gossiping about Madeleine outside!)
