{ @les-asterismes had ran away! }
Getting rid of the all consuming light had been their number one priority when they arrived here in the Tempest. Though no one really had any idea on how to do it other than search for Emet-selch. The journey to the ancient city had been nearly uneventful, and Papalymo and Alphinaud both wished that it had stayed that way.
To see their friend break down and run off like that only told them that the worse was yet to come. Without Ryne, surely the hero would succumb to the Light and become the most powerful Lightwarden yet. One that may not be able to be defeated.
The plan to find her was simple. Split up and search for her in groups of two. Due to the odd numbers, there was one group of three, but that’s fine. They just needed to find Etoile and then get Ryne over to her. Which was easier said than done, as the shades were less than helpful, normally referring to both of them as a child rather than just one and giving them no useful information.
{PAPALYMO} ---- “If one more calls me a child... Have they never seen a Lalafell or Dwarf?”
{ALPHINAUD} ---- “To be fair, to them you are smaller than most. And they’re shades living at the bottom of the ocean.
The glare Alphinaud had received was akin to that of Alisaie’s, and he couldn’t help the chuckle that left him as Papalymo turned away from him and marched right on ahead. Though the light hearted antics were about to end as an explosion of light caught their attention. Without another word the two of them began to head in that direction.
