‘Bonjour Bossuet!

I know It’a been a while since I’ve written back to you. We’ve been super busy here cause my Dad got a job elsewhere so we’re moving- I’m not sure to where yet- so It’s been hectic here cause we’ve had to pack up.

I thought I’d send a last letter cause I don’t know when Imll get out new address and stuff, we could be moving anywhere in the world! I think we’re moving to America cause Dad is from America but Haha says we won’t be going there. Where do you think we’re going?

Don’t reply to this... cause I won’t be here! But I’lll write as soon as I get to my new house!

That was the last letter Joly sent to his pen pal at age 15. He always meant to write back but suddenly life got in the way and he never did. He ended up moving to France and then ended up in medical school in Paris- almost totally forgetting his old pen pal.

“I’m not saying it was your fault but...still, Marius.” He sighed as he reached up to gently brush his thumb over the bruise on the other’s cheek, a rather deep frown on his face. Of course it wasn’t Marius’ fault he’d been caught in the middle of everything, but he wasn’t supposed to have been there that day at all and now he’d gotten hurt. He let out a little huff, letting his hands rest on the other’s shoulders instead, giving him a look. “You shouldn’t have been there at all, it could’ve been even worse.”

i had a don quixote for like two minutes but dropped him because it felt like no one wanted to roleplay with an old man ??? particularly one who wasn't a father figure??? it's super frustrating, and especially in my ocs i have a 60 year old woman who is objectionable and folks lose their minds when i ask to use her

YEAH I HEAR YOU. it feels like pulling teeth getting people to interact with henry, and even when i do, it always ends up falling into the same plot of ‘henry can be a father / uncle / mentor figure to my muse!!!’ i never get to write him with peers. i never get to write him with friends of the same age. the piping hot tea of today is that the rpc only cares about older male characters if they can ship with them to fulfil their d*ddy kinks and doesn’t care about older female characters at all, bye.

Joly, Chetta and Boss slept in two twin beds pushed together and taken from Joly and Chetta's childhood bedrooms for two months before the could afford a real big bed. It was uncomfortable a lot but they were all together and warm
