So, after seeing a few of these things either in full or in part, I’m starting to wonder:
Is every single Magical Girl anime about a group of young gay and bi ladies?
Is the entire genre just a big ol’ parable for queer girls coming of age and discovering the "magic” that only Girl Love can provide?
IF SO, are there embarrassing incidents where a mystical entity goes looking to designate a new magical girl, only to be forced to back out of the contract when it turns out the girl is straight? “Sorry, sweetie. Straight girls aren’t magic.” “WHAAAAA-”
