imagine setting out a ball of dough to rise overnight and going to sleep under the covers with your lover tangled around you. waking up early before the sun rises to bake it, the warm and comforting smell drifting through the house, a loaf of bread left to sit on the windowsill while you walk out the door for work. your partner sleepily walking into the kitchen, a light smile gracing their lips upon seeing a handwritten letter sweetly laid next to your early morning bake, pressed flowers in wax and twine

I made an impulse decision to be cute and domestic as hell today so here we goooo

apples washed, cored, and cut, then thrown into a pot with cinnamon sticks, a little brown sugar, and water. I let that boil for approx half an hour

strained out and mashed the apples, drained the apple juice (?) into a bowl

et voilà! homemade apple juice (?) and applesauce🍎

remind me to learn how to make this into apple cider

while waiting for the apples to boil, I did my last knead on my bread dough for it to rise a second time
