I see so many posts complaining about men being in lesbian spaces. And when I go to see the poster it’s usually a 50/50 shot between them being a TERF lesbian complaining about trans women or a TRF lesbian complaining about trans men.
As someone attracted to men (I don’t technically consider myself gay though), it’s so weird that this just isn’t a discourse when it comes to gay spaces. Maybe it’s in other places besides tumblr? But all the posts in the TEHM (trans-exclusionary homosexual male) tags seem to be by transphobic lesbians getting mad on the behalf of gay men. And I genuinely cannot find a post by a gay trans man complaining about transfem turigirls or trans women who still also identify as gay men.
Lesbianism needs to be jealously guarded in a way that other stuff just isn’t.
