Happy Birthday Jason Voorhees (June 13th, 1946)

I feel like I’m just welcoming “have you finished Preacher yet” comments by choosing this but THIS ONE
Happy! a gif set per episode - season 2, episode 1
Guy Tveit plays in that show
you mean my burnt piece of toast smol boy Mike Warren
1: sexuality head canon:I have a lot of mixed feelings in regards to Mike’s sexuality, mostly pertaining to how he interacts/looks at people, and his engaging behaviours. Do I believe that he’s hetero? Fuck no. But I can’t, confidently, say what I do believe his sexuality is. Mike’s a pretty fluid individual with his emotions, with his feelings, even when he’s trying to hide them, so I’m thinking that maybe his sexuality, in general, is just built very fluidly and there’s no set label for him, not really.
2: otp:Mike/Johnny
3: brotp:Mike/Charlie & Mike/Gusti
4: notp:Mike/Paige
5: first head canon that pops into my head:I’m not really good at coming up with my own head canons, and I usually delete this question, but with Mike, I happen to actually have a head canon here in relation to how he is in romantic relationships & his easily over-attachment to those he ends up with, and the way that he bends to their will & why he’s like that. It stems mostly from the abuse he endured when he was growing up, and being forced to live in that environment & accept that behaviour, even though it was wrong. It’s almost an internalized sort of feeling, believing that he deserves that treatment. He knows he doesn’t, and he knows he can rationalize the behaviour in himself, but instead? He dissociates from the acknowledgement and falls into destructive behaviours (not necessarily physically damaging ones). He gets involved in these power imbalanced relationships, takes interests in heavy power imbalances, because it’s reminiscent of something he isn’t quite ready to face, isn’t quite ready to give up, even if he wants to. He falls into these similar patterns & behaviours with people, accepting it, because for him, there may not be much else there, he may not be worthy of anything more. We don’t know the extent of that which was said to him while he was around his father, while he encountered the abuse that he did. It’s just a lot, and it’s such a sad head canon for me to have, but it makes him a very real thing in my eyes to have this dark seeded piece of himself inside. That willingness to not break down these unhealthy, toxic relationships & allow himself to truly be loved. It’s so heartbreaking.
6: one way in which I relate to this character:I, too, have ADHD & had an abusive alcoholic parent.
7: thing that gives me second hand embarrassment about this character:When he was going to “purchase” Paige from Sulla & was eyeing the girls, pretending to feign interest in them & what was going on, meanwhile it was just an act. I honestly get so much embarrassment over that scene because of the expressions Tveit makes with his face. I can’t even say it’s Mike Warren related, it’s just flat out Tveit’s fault. OH, and in season one when he was all, “Say the customer’s always right,” or what the fuck ever when he was with Bello. I’m dying, I fuvfodiugsdgsfjdgjh. ByE I GOTTa gO!
8: cinnamon roll or problematic fave?Mike, for me, is a cinnamon roll. In reality though, he’s 100% a problematic fave. The only character on that show who isn’t a problematic fave is Johnny, but he does have his moments where you sigh at his choices. But yeah, Mike is a sinnamon roll. Ha.
Jesse Custer
sexuality headcanon: this boy ain’t straight. y’all can fight me.
otp: i am a trashbag and still haven’t finished season 1, and i don’t doubt that jesse/tulip would grow on me if i was caught up on the show, but the point i’m at..........it’s jesse/cassidy. (also tbh keep tulip away from the men on the show bc she deserves better)
brotp: also cassidy.
notp: emily, maybe.
first headcanon that pops into my head: has totes kissed a boy. for reasons. fight me.
one way in which i relate to this character: just general poor life choices
thing that gives me secondhand embarrassment about this character: i’m sure there’s something??? but it’s been too long for me to remember meh.
cinnamon roll or problematic fave? problematic fave. def.
I've probably asked before in the same or similar askbox meme but Duke from Haven (look at me remembering names and shows and shit)
MY BOY
also i’m super proud of you
1: sexuality headcanon: about a one or a two on the kinsey scale
2: otp: DUKE/AUDREY
3: brotp: Duke/Seth Byrne
4: notp: Honestly there are a lot of things I could list, but they all have redeeming qualities, and I don’t mind certain interpretations? But based on the fandom’s general view of things......basically most people.
5: first headcanon that pops into my head: Muh boi is Jewish on his mother’s side.
6: one way in which I relate to this character: i, too, also love audrey and respect her more than some people. also tbh i sometimes am concerned my bro will turn out not entirely dissimilar from wade crocker.
7: thing that gives me second hand embarrassment about this character: he is an evil sponge. also the writers’ decision to throw in a female character to be his love interest the episode after he admits to nathan that he loves audrey, and then also push more for n/a. also also the fact that they never really gave him a long term friend that wasn’t ever a complete sack of shit to him and/or blamed him for their own/the entire town’s problems/not fixing those problems.8: cinnamon roll or problematic fave? i mean, he was very much a criminal and a smuggler and made some questionable choices, but like..........in a lot of ways.....he’s less problematic............than other characters......on the show.......that everyone views as a cinnamon roll.........
“You mean like Robocop?” “...No. Not like Robocop.”
By day, he ruthlessly defends the disenfranchised from the rich and powerful in a court of law. By...other parts of the day, he takes care of babies before his batteries run out. He has a super computer for a brain, inside the body of a conventionally attractive white guy.
Ed Westwick is LAWBOT.
