Rouxls kaard headcanons:
-He feeds lancer worms because he has no idea what children eat.
-luckily, worms ended up becoming one of Lancer's favorite meals.
-he speaks all fancy because he likes to read shakespeare in his spare time and just catches the accent he imagines in his head.
-he writes poetry, and is actually quite talented in it.
-He has amazing handwriting.
-he is a perfectionist, but has a hard time focusing on things and overthinks minor details.
-He is quite fond of Lancer and taught him how to ride his little bike.
-he is also the one that added the little fire feature to it.
-not willingly though, Rouxls was very against the idea of lancer running around the castle with a little bike on fire.
-Rouxls kaard is cowardly. But not stupid. He may not be brave, but he worked his way as a coward all the way to be ranked as a duke. So he is quite proud of himself.
-He won't admit it out loud, but he adores Lancer.
-He usually makes great puzzles (but they take a while, granted he doesn't have much of an attention span), but since the Lightners came on such short notice, he had to do something quickly. And considering the short amount of time he was able to pull a functional puzzle, he was proud of it.
-He really likes bugs. Sometimes when the King is asleep, or he is tasked to take care of lancer, he takes lancer outside with him to hunt bugs and teach lancer about it.
-He gets really passionate about bugs and can go on for a while talking about them.
-Deep inside his heart, he hates the king. He knows the kind of abuse Lancer has to endure and because of his cowardice, he does nothing about it.
-However, he tries to raise Lancer the best he can. But with limitations and a king that could kill you, he doesn't do as best as he wishes.
-sometimes he would like to take Lancer away with him. To give him a better life.
