The more I seek your face Jesus the better the view is on how to navigate this world. How when I read your word and apply to my walk with You. You are blessing to me with the beautiful ability to see myself, my actions, the actions of others towards me and more all through Your eyes. I must admit I am not fully there yet. Anger still comes my way but whenever it does your Holy Spirit quickly corrects me and guides me home. To ask for forgiveness is to forgive in the same sentence. You cannot have one without the other. Well you can try to have one without the other but your life does not look like Jesus plus you are not following GODs Commandments and therefore you do not love GOD. ““If you love me, keep my commands.” John 14:15 NIV http://bible.com/111/jhn.14.15.niv The Holy Spirit is showing me recently the great importance of this scripture. “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” Proverbs 27:17 NIV http://bible.com/111/pro.27.17.niv I have had people tell me about that for awhile now but I was not listening. I had an a reason for why I was doing my thing. I hung around more people that do not believe than I have ever spent time with people that do. I feel that everyone deserves to see the Light of Christ but I was missing the point of that scripture. To me, yes Jesus did spend a lot of time with tax collectors and other sinners but He showed/preached the gospel. He did not do the things that they did. For me I was sometimes doing the things that they did. Giving my worldly opinion on every topic, socializing heavily and other stuff too. I am so glad that in every occasion GOD was there with me to save me from myself. The longer and stronger my walk gets with Christ the further and further I move away from my past actions. Not moving away from the people but less of Stephen with every interaction and more Jesus Christ. That's the way GOD intended it to be. Also, surrounding myself around people to sharpen me and encourage me more in Christ. I believe I found another person and hopefully more. Never stop reaching and searching for Christ. Maybe this season in your life is not where you want to be but just know that GOD is right beside you relentlessly loving on you. Seek His face and not how you feel. “Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always strive to do what is good for each other and for everyone else.
