❗Lesson 34 Spoilers (under the cut)❗
OMG I would really love to see these 😭😭
Ohh it gets a bit SPICY with Belphie 👀👀👀
Levi, I love you, BUT YOUR WISH WAS PROBABLY THE EASIEST AND WE COULD’VE AVOIDED ALL THE EXTRA WORK IF YOU HAD JUST SAID YOUR WISH IN THE FIRST PLACE!
You still cute tho
Lucifer is done with everyone’s bullshit
I stg Levi is self aware. Quit breaking the 4th wall.
PFFF- A PARENTAL LOCK I’M DEAD 😂
You see everyone, Barb isn’t evil!
Excuse me, your gay is showing. 34-B seriously is made for all you DiaLuci shippers out there 😆
I know you said you liked the blood moon chapters but I'm really disappointed in how Asmo was shown in the first part of 34. He's really gross :(
Yeah, I definitely share that disappointment. I did really enjoy the spotlight focusing on him for a bit, even though there wasn't as much character development as there could have been, but Lesson 34 felt like a real backwards step for Asmo.
Of course we expect him to be flirty and make innuendos, but for non-interested MCs it's extremely uncool to imply he needed his bedroom to be free in case he successfully hypnotised MC 😕
I don't think that implication was intended, but given that aside from Belphie the other demon brothers have not hurt MC, I don't think it's fair to have Asmo come across as such a creep.
It'd be much more fitting if Asmo was trying to get MC to fall for him as the other demons have, rather than constantly pushing boundaries. And unlike the other demons, MC saying they aren't interested just doesn't register with him at all.
Asmo could be a really great complex character, but he's definitely had the weakest writing thus far.
Japanese Lesson 34: Colors part 1
Okay getting off my butt to do another lesson. :)

VOCABULARY

Red: Aka: あか: 赤
Orange: Orenji: オレンジ
White: Shiro: しろ: 白
Black: Kuro: くろ: 黒
Blue: Ao: あお: 青
Yellow: Kiiro: きいろ: 黄色
Green: Midori: みどり: 緑

GRAMMAR

Alright so I've just given you the NOUN form of the colors listed as opposed to the Adjective version.
To turn these colors into adjectives... for most of them you add an "i" 「い」 at the end.
Red: Akai: あかい: 赤い
Orange: Orenji no: オレンジの some color adjectives use "no" instead of "i" to become an adjective
White: Shiroi: しろい: 白い
Black: Kuroi: くろい: 黒い
Blue: Aoi: あおい: 青い
Yellow: Kiiroi: きいろい: 黄色い
Green: Midori no: みどりの: 緑の
What's the difference? For those of you unsure of the difference, like I most definitely would be being as in English we don't modify our words for color based on if they're acting as a noun or an adjective, basically if the color comes directly before whatever noun you're describing, you'll be using the adjective version. If not, use the noun version, for example:
Adjectives: Blue book Black cat Green plant Red can White flower
Nouns The book is blue. The cat is black. The plant is green. The can is red. The flower is white.
Understand? :) The same rules apply for Japanese! So that's pretty easy. Let's get started on sentences!

SENTENCES

The dress is black. Doresu wa kuro desu. ドレス は くろ です。 ドレスは黒です。
A lemon is yellow. Remon ha kiiro desu. レモン は きいろ です。 レモンは黄色です。
Water is blue. Mizu wa ao desu. みず は あお です。 水は青です。
No, her elephant is not red. iie, kanojo no zou wa aka dewa arimasen. いいえ、 かのじょ の ぞう は あか では ありません。 いいえ、彼女の象は赤ではありません。
Your cat is white. anata no neko wa shiro desu. あなた の ねこ は しろ です。 あなたの猫は白です。

The skirts are green. Suka-to wa midori desu. スカート は みどり です。 スカートは緑です。
My shirt is orange. Watashi no shatsu wa orenji desu. わたし の シャツ は オレンジ です。 私のシャツはオレンジです。
Orange shirt Orenji no shatsu オレンジのシャツ

:D Okay that's it for this lesson. Pretty straight forward. that's a nice break from those verbs, eh? Until next time!!
Lesson Objective: To appreciate and comprehend the Book of Hosea, which describes an ultimately loving, merciful, and forgiving God to the children who repent and rely on Him.
Lesson 34: Hosea
Next week in Sunday School, we’re going to talk about the book of Hosea. Hosea is, in a lot of ways, almost a polar opposite of what we discussed in Job: it’s expressly covenantal, and it attributes punishment to bad behavior.
Hosea is the first of the twelve minor prophets in the Hebrew Bible. Note that “minor prophet” doesn’t mean less important--it just means that they’re short books, especially in comparison with the three major prophets, Isaiah, Ezekiel, and Jeremiah.
The book of Hosea is tough, though. Like really tough. Partly, that’s because of familiarity issues--if you’re anything like I was a week ago, you’ve never read Hosea. But it’s also because of genre and style (a prophetic book, with a mix of prose and poetry), context (probably the decades following the Assyrian conquest of the Northern Kingdom), and weirdly literalized metaphor. Moreover, we have legal language here, and some relatively misogynistic language and images.
With all that, though, Hosea is fascinating, interesting, and valuable. And next Sunday, I’d love for us to dig Hosea and see what value we can pull out of it. To do that, it would be great if you could read for it. The whole book is only 14 chapters long, but those chapters are fierce and bear extended concentration and rereading. If you’re not up for reading all 14, it would be great if you could read at least chapters 1-3 and 4:1-3. Again, I recommend a good study Bible, but if you don’t have half a dozen of those hanging around, the NET Bible is also a great place to have at it.
Again, Sunday, feel free to ask any questions you have about Hosea, but also don’t hesitate to ask them in advance here.
I’m looking forward to talking about Hosea on Sunday!
