No Power?!? NO PROBLEM. Having been without electricity for the last 48 hours I got to thinking, what is MY true source of power? It doesn’t come in the form of a heated home, or even outlets to charge my iPhone. Those things are simply byproducts of living in today’s culture. My great friend Shem, who grew up in Nairobi shared with me this morning that his family hadn’t lived with electric until he was 11. WOW!! It’s all perspective. I’m certain since he knew nothing else that was just as it always had been. My true source of Power came when I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord & Savior. It was at that moment the Holy Spirit took up residency in my heart and gave me HIS SPIRIT. One of POWER, LOVE & SOUND MIND. 2 Tim 1:7. That’s my true source of POWER and you can’t get that from your toaster oven. The choice, however lies in Will you believe it and if so, will you fully step in and be alive to your Power?? For me..
