Happy New Year, Tumblr! 🌻✨
It's not worth it. If I die tomorrow, this all stops for good.
I guess this is what we’re all waiting for.
Silence.
Nothing.

Woman or Wolf
Some days I'm more wolf Then woman And I'm still learning How to stop apologising For my wild
who can you call, when you're stressed and sad? NO-BODY
What 2016 has taught me:
1. Things don’t and will never stay the same, we need to be accepting of changes and change with them because if we don’t we will get left behind.
2.Self-love - is so so important, you can’t love another person if you can’t love and respect yourself.
3. Not everyone is going to understand you and that’s fine, as long as you know yourself and know what you stand for you’ll be okay.
4. Some days you feel completely alone, but you never really are.
5. Life is incredibly harsh sometimes, you go through things that you know you don’t deserve but the thing is, when you’re knee deep in hurt and pain you can’t see anything else besides what you are feeling but once you come out on the other side you understand why it needed to happen. You hurt, you grow and you’re one step closer to figuring out who you are. Pain is necessary.
6. Don’t take life so seriously. We need to be able to laugh at ourselves, we mess up sometimes, we’re only human but always, always try again and again. However In the process of failing and trying we change as people, we always are, every situation changes us and maybe down the line you realize that its not what you want anymore and that’s okay, it doesn't mean you’ve given up but you just see things from a different perspective, with fresh eyes and a new mind set.
7. Never try and change yourself for anyone else besides yourself. I know a guy, he stopped smoking because of the woman he was with didn't like smoking. Five years later they called a quits, the day she walked out he bought a pack of cigarettes. When you change who you are for someone else you become what that person sees you as and you lose yourself in this made up version that kind of looks like you but you don’t recognize them. Be you, do what you love and when you feel that YOU need to make a change in your life do it for YOU and no one else.
8. Not knowing what’s going to happen next, is the best stage of your life, cherish it. Now i know what you’re thinking. Not knowing is a horrible feeling, you have no idea what you’re doing with your life, weather it’s after high school or after you graduate, you’ve just been fired, you just moved to another country away your parents. We like to be in control of everything, needing to know whats going to happen next but look at it this way, you have no idea whats coming your way but there are endless, endless possibilities. Life is exciting, it’s like a really, really complicated, dramatic novel and you’re the main character. You have no idea what’s on the next page that it scares you but it excites you just as much and that feeling, when you don’t know if you’re scared or excited, you should feel like that everyday. Trying new things, pushing past your comfort zone, discovering new things about yourself, you should feel that way everyday.
Always be open to listen, learn and share. Having people speak into your life doesn't make you a failure, it doesn't mean you can't think for yourself. Having people speak into your life opens you up to different perspectives, it grows the depth of your vision and thinking. Now obviously not everyone has positive things to say, and not everything said will be relevant. That's where wisdom and discernment comes into play. Choose what you listen to carefully, be wise in what you hear and what you do with it. Interpretation can save you and kill you, just be sure to be wise about it. Everyone you meet brings an opportunity with them, don't block yourself from learning because "it's not you" or "it's not for you". #Lessonsof2016

Why do I keep thinking that I'm getting fatter after I splurge. I'm a rational human being yet I refuse to believe in the mechanics of the human body. Just because I had a heavy meal for dinner and maybe over indulged on desert doesn't mean I automatically put on a kilo. Get it together man!
