That moment where Louis like half- or quarter-smiled while looking at Lestat...the first time I watched that episode, I was so shocked, I thought maybe I had imagined it or misinterpreted it, and then to have Jacob saying that Louis can't help but be happy to see Lestat alive, can't help but think how beautiful he looks even in the midst of all this fear and confusion...and then Lestat looking poleaxed as soon as he looks away from Louis, like just one look at Louis has totally undone him and his brain is now a blank....characters/actors/writers of all time

literally!!! one small look and it says everything: all of the regret and the hate but also all of the love and the memories and every second and every mile that exists between them. it's so much. i can't handle it. i can't even bring myself to go see what face lestat makes. i'm not strong enough.

lestat throws away all of louis' clothing and replaces it with plaid as a joke

At first I could see it, but I dunno he gets too offended when Louis dresses badly.... he would probably do it as a joke on a whim and then immediately regret it, and then Louis would actually wear it all the time just specifically to piss Lestat off and punish him for trying to be funny.
