Anne Rice was an author of gothic fiction, erotic literature, and Christian literature. She was best known for her series of novels The Vampire Chronicles. Books from The Vampire Chronicles were the subject of two film adaptations—Interview with the Vampire and Queen of the Damned.

Rice was not 100% too happy about the film “Queen of The Damned” and casting, however was very pleased with Aaliyah’s representation of “Queen Akasha”. Rice watched the film with director Michael Rymer, and called Aaliyah’s performance “remarkable.” and even said Aaliyah was “a gifted singer and actress.

A special birthday commission for one of my loveliest moots <3 Happy birthday!!!

It'd rained before. They started flying out from Nola. Lestat was in double-denim (80s!) Louis was in 19thc frockcoat, which doesn't work with show Louis. So we decided to update their looks and to include St Louis cathedral and their special bench😍🥰😘 FUN!

I also added priceless antique emerald wedding rings as Anne Rice herself had depicted in her description of Loustat's wedding.
