i seriously don’t know how you can claim to be a hunter x hunter fan and be right wing and homophobic at the same time as if one of hxh’s themes isn’t a critique of capitalism and as if there aren't multiple canon lgbt characters.

as if it wasn’t written by the man who wanted to write a story with an entire cast of queer and gender nonconforming people got rejected.

as if he didn’t say while writing yu yu hakusho that once he becomes successful enough to do what he wants he was gonna publish the story in a different form. as if that time hasn’t come???

as if togashi doesn’t currently have a contract with shounen jump that lets him do whatever he wants because he’s so successful now.

as if the characters in hxh don’t have parallels to the characters in said story about gay ppl and drag queens.

as if hxh isn’t the “different form” of the trouble quartet that togashi was talking about. all y’all do is consume media mindlessly... 😭
