Toxicity in the ROP fandom....

First off, I love ROP and enjoy it. I support everyone's rights to opinions and ships. I love seeing people be avid and passionate here, and I love seeing people expressing their thoughts and creativity.

However, lately, I've began to notice there seems to be this growing pattern of hate, arguing, and jumping each other.

At first, it was people villainizing certain ships, then it was blaming certain subcategories of character fandoms here.

Now, I'm starting to notice people hating up on really good characters. Blaming them for villains' actions.

Now I am by no means hating on people's rights to love a baddie, we all have that problematic fave. I totally get it.

In fact, the vast majority of characters I like were villains.

However, when you are actually trying to truly justify evil characters, then there is a problem.

I understand villain fandoms, but I thought we knew better than to actually side with it?

When I was a kid, I was in awe of Morgoth's black armour. The dude is practically a proto-goth demigod. What's not cool about that? But even at 10, I still knew better than to justify him.

Also, let's be nice and polite to one another. We may have our differences, but let's not argue and bully one another over fictious characters.

Anyway, sorry if I was rambling.

Just my thoughts.

Stop it

I didn’t think I’d say this, but I’m scared. They are expelling a lot of of our diplomats, and the history tells that this is one of the steps to a war. 

I do not want it. Nobody wants. 

We are people, just as you are. In this situation we suffer, NOT our goverment, who doesn’t give a single shit about us. They literally don’t care. I mean, we don’t get paid enough for our work, we don’t have propriate health care, we die, and they are just “okay, people burned alive, let’s buy another yacht”.

All this sanctions — it touches us, not our goverment. This is why there is no response from them like “we are sorry, we did shit”. No. And they will not do anything, because they are okay with this situation. We don’t. But they are. 

I just want you to know, we are good people. We are honest, and helpful, a bit weird sometimes, but we are good. We don’t deserve all of this attitude. Can’t you see, we are not politics, we don’t even have an option to HAVE a fair elections. We cannot openly talk about our opposition (which they’re trying to strangle). We cannot stand up and fight, because… all of us have something to lose. And they can do whatever they want. Unpunishedly.

I mean, really. 

Please. Do not hate us for what we didn’t do. We are good.
