19, 22, 23, and 30 (for the chara solidifying)

19. What were your character’s deepest disillusions? In life? What are they now?

             In  life?  None  (  so  far  )  Now?  Creating  the  Shikon  no  tama.  I  don’t  think  she  even  meant  to  create  it  in  the  first  place.  She  just  wanted  to  stop  the  demons  before  they  would  go  to  cause  havoc  on  the  villages  after  she  was  dead.  However  ,  she  ended  up  creating  a  jewel  that  has  caused  many  tragedies  over  the  ages  ,  and  she  knows  it.  So  that  is  her  only  guilt  and  regret.

22. Who are their friends? Lovers? ‘Type’ or ‘ideal’ partner?

               Kirara  is  her  closest  companion  ;  and  she  would  easily  tag  people  as  her  ‘ friends  ’  I  would  love  to  add  more  names  to  the  list  ,  I  just  need  to  take  her  out  more.  For  ideal  partner  ,  someone  who  doesn’t  restrict  her  on  who  she  is––  like  ,  she  is  a  priestess  and  a  demon  slayer  ,  and  she  is  very  selfless  to  the  point  that  she  would  be  willing  abandon  the  relationship  if  one  of  the  requisites  is  to  leave  her  profession.  That  is  who  she  is  ,  and  to  be  asked  to  leave  it  would  make  her  think  that  she  is  not  truly  loved––  because  she  can’t  be  accepted  for  what  she  does.

23. What do they want from a partner? What do they think and feel of sex?

                Love. Trust. That  she’s  wanted  not  because  of  her  exterior  or  her  spiritual  powers  ,  but  on  how  she  is  on  the  inside..  she’s  very  simple  ,  and  doesn’t  ask  for  something  extraordinary  tbh.  Especially  ,  because  she  was  in  a  time  of  constant  wars  ,  and  many  interests  involved  ,  and  the  authorities  wanted  to  control  the  priests  and  priestesses  (  in  the  heian  period  )  ;  so  to  find  someone  that  is  selfless  and  honorable  is  enough  for  her.  

                  Up  to  this  point  ,  I  headcanon  her  as  unexperienced.  She  has  heard  of  it  ,  and  has  an  idea  ,  but  hasn’t  experienced  it  herself.  She  thinks  of  it  as  something  intimate  and  sacred  ;  something  that  should  be  shared  with  someone  special.

30. Are they holding on to something in the past? Can he or she forgive?

                   She’s  very  forgiving.  Holding  grudges  is  not  something  she  is  fond  of.  No  matter  how  bad  or  evil  the  deed  is  ,  she  believes  that  a  soul  can  redeem  and  truly  repent.  Besides  ,  she  is  aware  of  her  own  kind‘s  weaknesses  ,  and  knows  that  there  is  a  reason  behind  every  deed.

Sesshomaru held himself in such a way that suggested that her presence - her existence - was of absolutely no consequence to him whatsoever, that he merely chose to speak to her in order to discover the reason behind her choice to follow him.  The haughty expression of his face - the indifference he had in his tone - all indicated that every aspect of their interaction was an exercise in patience.  

An eyebrow arched as his answer came - one that she did not necessarily believe - she had observed a hint of something in his eyes.  Those beautifully colored eyes.  She was uncertain of whether it had been recognition or understanding, but it had been something.  When he turned his back to her - a clear signal that the conversation was over - she extended a hand and took a step to follow, dropping the chain against her chest.  

He did not give her the chance to speak, nor did he turn to face her again when he offered words of advice, to safeguard the pendant - the message only served to amplify what she had already suspected - he knew something.  Why else would he even bother to say it?

A satisfied grin spread across her face as she watched him walk away, the fur that rest upon his shoulder trailed behind him.  She had not been convinced that he was truthful with her when he said that he could not be of any help to her.  One thing was certain - he could, but he would not offer her any assistance - not willingly anyway.

Without any forethought, her feet began to move - in the direction of his footsteps - the decision to go after him was made, without reflection or consideration of the consequences.  She knew it would serve no purpose to attempt to cloak her presence from him now - she tucked the jade pendant safely back into the folds of her shōzoku - he would be able to detect her as long as he remained in her field of vision.   She felt that it would be more appropriate for her to be transparent in her action anyway.  She would not attempt to sneak about behind him now - not after they had been properly introduced - she considered that to be rude.

She would follow him, to see where his path would lead - perhaps he would turn to speak to her again, perhaps not - either way, she was curious to see where he would lead her.
