Summary 

Hermione Granger is still trying to explore what it means to be in a new relationship. Draco Malfoy struggles to overcome his poor reputation in the Wizarding World as an Ex-Death Eater. Their problems lead to a silly spat, which Hermione proposes they have a night of reconciliation and relaxation by insisting she gives him a massage.

Starter

Snow blanketed the castle. The wind was a bitter breeze as it ran through the stair ways, and the windows were trying their hardest to keep the cold out. Francis sat at a wooden table and ate his breakfast. His subjects smiled and bowed as they passed by. He in only nodded in return. Today marks the day of the winter festival. 

The whole castle would celebrate the oncoming of the new year with games, food and music. Francis was most excited about the archery competition. As a King, he hadn’t had time to participate or practice one of his favorite sports. His bow sat on the table beside his bread. His quiver was placed in the chair next to him.

Kai Matsumoto’s POV

Ropes and chains do not hold a marriage together - instead, it's the tiny, thousands of threads which have been sewn between the hearts of two people for years and years. Apparently, this was the thought process of what I should have been thinking, yet unfortunately, had never gotten around to comprehending so. Cigarette loosely clasped between my lips, it's nothing other than a gentle; spring breeze which sends cherry blossom petals in my direction - line of sight graffiti'd with the tiny pink and white glimmers of new hope.

"Tell me I'm an idiot", I manage aloud before turning on the park bench I'm seated on - to face an old friend who I was anticipating to be able to talk me out of the fundamental mistake I felt I was making, "...tell me that waiting down the end of an aisle for a women that after all these years I still barely know, is wrong. At least for me."
