maybe i’m just paranoid, but when you said that last bit about transphobic vagueposts i went “man, that sucks!” and then about 5 minutes later i remembered something random i posted like a year ago and went “wait, fuck, was that me?!”— so i just wanted to say that if it was me then i’m genuinely very sorry and i want you to know that it 100% wasn’t meant as a jab at you or anything. i would hate for anyone to think i would stoop to transphobia, i honestly just made the meme cause i’m femaligned and the format made me giggle. i quite like your hcs + art actually, i think your devotion is admirable and that you should keep it up! /gen /npa

hello! i'm sure you've gotten shit about this before so i just want to put the disclaimer that this is not intended to be an attack, i'm genuinely curious and interested about your interpretation of rudolf, so i want to ask if it's okay. i'm curious about how you headcanon rudolf as a trans man, but how do you make this work with the fact that a huge part of his backstory is the Baby Drama (i don't want to get too into detail for spoilers but obviously i'm sure you understand what i'm referring to). or is this headcanon just something that you're attached to personally/not necessarily something you try to make work with canon? i hope the wording on this makes sense, i'm not really sure ;_; thank you! :3

me hcing rudolf as a trans man is really something i do for personal comfort reasons because i myself am a trans man!!! a major part of why i even found the confidence to adopt the trans man label in the first place and really refer to myself as a man was because of rudolf, so much so that i named myself rudy after him! it helped that a lot of his struggles w masculinity and masculine ideals esp of the toxic masculinity variety and how much they conflict w who he's meant to actually be as a person really resonate deeply w me as a trans man, i feel like that kinda subconsciously plays a lot into it as well, though i know canon largely conflicts this w the whole baby swap thing so i know it could never actually be anything canonical, but it's a nice comforting thing for me to think abt and something that really helps me feel confident in my own gender identity and expression a lot despite that :) so yeah, i never treat it as like totally canon as more than a joke, but i do love to personally just think of him as trans in my mind bc of the security it gives me in myself <3 this is a kinda corny way of puttin it but i wouldn't be a man if it weren't for me knowing about rudolf, so this is how i pay thanks to him for it :D which i know is a sentiment that wouldn't make sense to people probably but he means a lot to me genuinely so it's the best way i can put it

THAT MEANS A LOT TO ME......im so glad you love it!!! rudolf is a character that has grown to mean so so much to me ever since i finished umineko back in june 2021, so much that he's become my favorite of all time, i'm really glad that shines through every time i draw him!! the connections people can have w so many diff characters in this cast is definitely one of the most special things about umineko for me :D thanks for the kind words!!!

IDK where I saw it but I SWEAR I saw u mention making a Rudolftrice fangame somewhere 👀 I need to know more plsplspls-

YEAAAH i’ve mentioned it before on my main twitter and on my umi spoilers twitter as well as my priv where i’m just slightly more open abt it but it’s something i’ve been slowly working on for a few months now!!!! i’m still writing it but i eventually wanna make it fully playable in vn form which is something i have NEVER even tried doing before but im ambitious for this project DGSGJDF i literally wanna redraw spritesets and make new necessary sprites and do my own cgs and dhsghdhdc so much is planned for this that im really hoping i can properly deliver on!!!!

i havent talked abt too many plot details since i don’t wanna like spoil everything but yeah it’s centered around rudolf/rudotrice!!! the forgery starts a bit before the family conference and eventually gets to that point, with rudotrice inviting battler along w beato to a game of his to maybe get him to learn just a bit more about his dad. i won’t give too much away but the rules will be slightly different for this forgery and won’t follow the standard format dictated by the epitaph. rudotrice has different kinds of plans after all :]

Thanks god someone seeing Rosa and Rudolf's relationship as FRATERNAL and not like that weirdo posting 24/7 a literal fankid of them!!
