Moses’ indignation
Saluting and commanding Moses Sumney’s decision to cancel his gig at JazzFest, making his message clear on not cosigning white artists and producers appropriating an oppressed people’s culture for their own benefit. A lot can be paralelled within the spectrum of white culture vulturism (i.e. Kid Rock, Vanilla Ice, boys bands like BackstreetBoys and N’Sync, ELVIS...) so let’s not act like the biting is something new.
