Guilty Realisation

Life is precious, aren't we all taught that? Then why do we go kill that basement rat? We all are equal, we all have rights Then why certain colors have sleepless nights? Who gives one the right to bomb a nation, And to eat most of nature's creation. We can't all survive on water and love But maybe we can rise above. The cruelty can be minimized, can it not? Food chain should exist, but without the nasty shot. Do you not feel anything or is it ignorance? Do you mind looking on their side for once? How do we, the privileged know what they go through Be it animals, plants, blacks, whites or Jews Hate crimes aren't limited to murderers and rapists, But sometimes can also be the kindest baptists It's not always about the wrong actions you take, It grows onto avoiding and being fake. Don't want to harm animals? Convert to veganism Don't want humans to suffer? Stop the racism Why pray to god to solve our problems and help us Especially when that's who -for the problems- we curse . "How do I make the world a better place" wonder some people, confused as to how ones' lone actions can make a difference. There are a lot of such Lone Rangers out there, one takes action so does another. We might not be aware of each other, but slowly we can change everything.
