Tobias Gutmann at VOLUMES 2015
Tobias Gutmann is a Zürich based artist who travels the world with Face-o-mat, a social, portable, analog portrait-machine. His artist research looks at abstract shapes and with “Let’s make language” he searches for his own visual language, trying to unlearn and escape conventional language patterns by exploring how meaning is created through representation and context. Experimenting with unusual writing instruments, Tobias explores playful, alternative ways of expressing ideas.
