Fluffy bees incoming bud!Â

Blake tiptoed inside her bedroom, careful not to make a sound.
In moments like these sheâd miss dearly her days back in the battlefield, when the only thing sheâd have to worry about was slaying Grimms, donât get killed, and then pass out wherever it was where she was sleeping and rest properly without worries.
Okay, maybe thatâs a bit of an exaggeration for the work of a Huntress, where she could get killed technically any time, but the thought didnât really occur to her when she was so sleep deprived and tired from hours of treaties, discussions, and bureaucracy.
Damn her younger self for caring so much for the Faunus cause to make her sign up for that bullshit!
âŠokay, maybe thatâs another exaggeration, but could you blame her? She was exhausted! The world wasnât gonna fix itself and if she wanted a more equal one for the future generations she had to work hard.
She just wished she could rest more, and spend more time with her soon-to-be wife.
Blake understood the importance of her work, and how that was a critical time that demanded all of her attention⊠but she missed her. She missed Yang so much.
At least during the honeymoon she would finally be left alone and relax. Hopefully.
Sneaking around the way that only a cat-like being like her could manage to, Blake reached for the drawer to pull out the first thing she could reach and change to get to sleep. She didnât care what it was, as long as it was comfortable.
She got out of her uncomfortable working clothes, uncaringly tossing them to the ground, and put on an oversized t-shirt she recognized belonged to Yang; it smelled like her.
She already felt better.
Blake got to her side of her bed, raising the covers to settle and finally catch some sleep, hopefully without disturbing her fiancé.
ââŠBlake?â
Mission failed.
Blake sighed âHi sweetheart.â She leaned in to give her a quick peck on the lips âIâm sorry, I didnât mean to wake you.â
âTâs okay, I was just half-asleep.â Yang tried to reassure her, without sounding too convincing though. âYouâre late.â
âI know, Iâm sorry. They kept asking for a little more of my time, and asking questions, and-â Blake sighed again, stopping herself âI really donât feel like ranting right now.â
âAww, comâhere.â Yang opened her arms and Blake didnât need to be told twice.
The Faunus made her way between the arms of her lover, resting over her chest and nuzzled under her chin. Surrounded by warmth and love, all the bad feelings she was having mere minutes ago seemed useless and far.
Yang held her close, leaving a kiss between her ears, and Blake sighed in bliss; she could feel her heartbeat from that position.
ââŠdid I ever tell you that you make a great pillow?â she asked, nuzzling more into her chest.
âOnce or twice.â Yang laughed slightly âNot hard to⊠believe.â She joked, slumber slowly coming back for her. Blake smiled, on her way to lose her consciousness as well.
They held close onto each other, limbs tangled and hearts in sync, as sleep came to claim both of them.
Life might have been still hard, in a different way, but it was worth it when you got to share it with the person you loved.
Top 5 wish list moments for v8?
good ask very good ask!!!!!
thereâs been some pretty strong hints that ruby will fall apart this season and i Would Like To See It. as a follow up on her conversation with salem in v7c11 but also just as a direction i think her character needs to go for a moment. i remember that after gravity came out there where some people grumbling that she was on the floor one second and then fighting for mantle two seconds later and it didnât make sense -- for me, i canât help but be reminded of that speech she gives jaune in volume 1 where she essentially tells him that leaders arenât allowed to fail or fall apart. thereâs pressure thatâs been building in ruby for awhile now (not unlike blake in the first half of volume 2), and iâd like to see it break and for her to let everyone else in.
on a similar vein, PLEASE give us more information about summerâs last mission!! in a perfect world this would also involve a heartstring pulling conversation between yang and ruby about their mom.
I Am Not Immune To STRQ Flashback Propaganda
oh please, please, please let winter find her way to team RWBYâs side. if she has a very dramatic showdown moment cumulating her disillusion with ironwood, thatâs very good. if she busts robyn and qrow out of jail in the process even better. if she gets poignant character beats with weiss and penny afterwards.............. best!!
iâm still not sure if i am gunning for a v8 kiss, but obviously i would like to see the bees flirting a little more. i really, really loved the flirty moments we got in volume 7 and am hype for some like. tender war room moments. finding little moments to lean on each other. showing off their perfect harmony in battle. napping in each otherâs arms in the trenches. that sort of thing.
I know you posted it awhile ago but, could you do 8. âPlease, stop smiling at me like that. Iâm not sure what will happen if you keep doing that.â For bumbleby?
thatâs okay! you can totally send prompts that are a bit old, as long as you specify what the prompt is or give me the number and the specific prompt list :) iâll be happy to do this one for the bees, i hope you enjoy it thanks for the prompt!
takes place during the beesâ night off in volume 7, just before everything goes to shit

âGods, Iâm glad to be out of there.â Blake grumbled, reaching up to massage her faunus ears that were now aching. The club they joined Team FNKI at was fun, and dancing with Yang made the night even more special, but there was only so much her cat ears could take.
She felt a hand on the small of her back, and she blinked open her eyes, lowering her hands to her sides and turning her head to look at Yang, who sported concerned lilac eyes.
âYou okay? Iâm sorry if... I donât know, if you felt like you had to come just because of me.â Yangâs mouth morphed into a frown, and Blakeâs heart clenched at the apologetic look on her face. Blake immediately shook her head and reached out a hand, brushing her fingers along Yangâs human one.
âYou never pressured me into doing anything, Yang.â Blake reassured her, catching her eyes. âI had a lot of fun tonight. The noise can just be a bit too much for me, thatâs all.â Blake said, sending her a small smile. Yang still didnât seem totally convinced, so Blake sighed and stopped walking, prompting Yang to stop with her. Yang blinked at her, and Blake thought she looked utterly adorable with the deer in the headlights look on her face.
âYang.â Blake said. âI promise, Iâm okay. Honestly, you made the night more bearable than it would have been if I went alone. Iâm... Glad we got to spend time together.â Blake said softly, averting her gaze slightly due to the admission. Yangâs lip quirked up in a small smile, and she sighed, nudging Blakeâs shoulder with her own.
âWhen did you get so damn cheesy?â Yang teased, laughing when Blakeâs ears pulled back and she gave her a glare that held no malice at all. Blake huffed and started to walk down the empty, dead street again, Yang jogging to catch up with her quick strides. âNo, really, when did that happen? Iâd like to know.â Yang was clearly still teasing her.
Blake huffed again and suddenly smirked, deciding to shoot back with her own teasing. Two can play this game, Yang.
âAnd when did you get so damn blush-y and flustered, hm?â Blake said, smirk growing when she chanced a glance to her side and saw Yangâs cheeks glowing red, a shocked expression on her face. âNo, really, when did that happen, Yang?â
âOkay, whoa there, hold up... We werenât talking about me!â Yang protested, and Blake giggled into her hand when Yang rubbed the back of her neck, something Blake realised was a cute, nervous tick of hers.
âAnd now we are. Funny how things work like that.â Blake mused, and Yang groaned at her, shoving her slightly in retaliation.
âGods, youâre annoying.â Yang whined, but when Blake gazed over into her eyes again, the two of them walking in step with each other, she saw no truth to that statement.
Blake let out a soft smile, and taking a chance, reached out and grasped Yangâs human hand in her own, marvelling in the shift in Yangâs eyes. They were less teasing and more shy, more apprehensive.
âMaybe.â Blake replied, squeezing Yangâs hand. âBut you love me.â Blake meant for it as a passing joke, just a silly little thing. But Yang blinked at her, and whatever went through her mind, Blake didnât know. But Yang gripped her hand more firmly, and flashed a smile before she averted her eyes to look ahead of them.
âYeah.â Yang whispered, and it seemed more to herself than to Blake, but Blakeâs sensitive hearing still picked up on it. She flitted her eyes over to Yang, whose eyes were looking at the buildings around them, the streetlights bouncing off of her golden hair and making it look even more shiny and beautiful. Her eyes sparkled, and Blake found her heart skipping a beat in realisation of what Yang might have meant with that simple âyeahâ.
A slow, but affectionate smile crept onto her face the longer she watched Yang. It took a bit for Yang to notice, but she eventually did. Her cheeks were now dusted with pink, and she laughed, a little awkwardly.
âUh, what?â Yang said. Blakeâs gentle smile remained, and she shrugged, flitting her eyes all over Yangâs features.Â
âJust admiring the view.â Blake said smoothly, and she was delighted to see Yangâs blush deepen. She sputtered for a bit and scratched her neck, looking away.
âStop.â Yang replied, and Blake giggled, Yang returning her gaze to her. Yang huffed a laugh at her, rolling her eyes. âYouâre such a gremlin, you know that?â
âI take pride in it.â Blake said cheekily, continuing to smile softly at her. Yang sighed and glanced at the smile on her face, her lilac eyes softening. Their steps had slowed somewhat, but they still continued meandering down the street, hands locked together. Yang glanced between Blakeâs eyes and her smile, a playful look in her eye starting to surface.
âYou better stop that.â Yang warned, pulling Blake to a stop. They stood in the middle of the dark street, and Blake raised an eyebrow at her words, looking at her with slight confusion.Â
âStop what?â Blake said, and Yang grinned at her, pointing to her mouth.
âThat smile is killing me right now, Belladonna.â Yang said, wagging her finger. Blake giggled at the finger in her face, lightly blushing at what Yang said. She took it in stride though, as usual, and she blatantly made sure her smile was even more cheesy and loving than before.
âAnd?â Blake said, and Yang breathed out a laugh at her, glancing all over her face.
âJust please, stop smiling at me like that. Iâm not sure what will happen if you keep doing that.â Yang said, voice turning into a soft mumble towards the end, and Blake found that she enjoyed the slight shiver that travelled down her spine with the way Yang was looking at her.Â
Blake took a breath, then smirked at her and pulled her hand away, raising both her hands in a mock surrender.
âOh no, please.â Blake feigned a breathless type of voice, pressing the back of her hand to her forehead. âWhatever will I do if the big, bad, Yang Xiao Long comes after me?â
Yang snorted at her display, before a smirk that matched her own formed onto her lips. She raised her hands and wiggled her fingers, and Blake began backing up down the street, Yang following her.
âI guess weâll find out!â Yang bellowed, and Blake snorted, quickly turning and running down the street. Yangâs footsteps pounded behind her, and their laughter filled the air as they played this game of cat and mouse.
Eventually, Yang caught up to her after Blake cheated with a bunch of her clones, and Blake laughed as Yang wrapped her arms around her from behind, encircling her in safety and warmth. She enjoyed it a lot; she always enjoyed doing anything with Yang.
But, unfortunately, life had other plans, and just as Blake was turning around to tease Yang some more, sirens blared and Atlas military began flooding down the street, catching their attention.
âWhat the hell?â Yang said, eyes following the line of military. Blake furrowed her brows and pulled out her scroll, a gasp escaping her at what she saw. Yang looked over her shoulder and also gasped, the images of Grimm, Jacques Schnee, and Penny in a room full of murdered people greeting them both.
âPenny?â Blake mumbled in disbelief, before a shout ahead brought her attention back to the matter at hand. She pocketed her scroll and pulled out Gambol Shroud, looking at Yang as she activated Ember Celica. They looked at each other, and with some exasperated smirks, began moving forward.
âDuty calls, right?â Yang said, and Blake hummed.
âI knew a night off sounded too good to be true.â Blake replied, and with a laugh from Yang, they shot into the night, going to join the military and help as much as they could.
At least everything before that point was something to hold on to before the fight overtook them.Â
Since you are roasting Disney movies now, I am curious, what are your thoughts on Rise of Skywalker?
What do you get when you take a director too keen on catering to angry fanboys and mix it with an incredibly interesting and meaningful plot for a Stormtrooper, Rouge Pilot, and Maintenance Worker?
You get a movie about a girl learning a POWERFUL MAN was behind all of her success and a BadBoy McChad getting peaceful emotional closure after committing genocide and parricide for the entire series while everyone else gets no closure or even matters anymore.
Storm Pilot should have been canon, Rose was a great character, and the crap that Kelly Marie Tran, John Boyega, and Oscar Isaac had to go through is bloodboilingly sickening.
The Mandalorian is great though.
I would like to hold Mando and Cara Duneâs hands.
5 things: yin/yang symbolism, soulmates, softness, sleep schedule who?, and \o/
\o/ heheh pretty much, although i feel there is one vital ingrediant missing :>
That one scene in Anchor when they are in bed and Blake looks up and Yang has tears in her eyes because she's leaving! It gets me EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.
