Here's my 2023 year in film as recorded on Letterboxd. My goal was to watch 365 films in 2023 and I smashed that goal. I watched 401 films, about 27 of which were short films (40 minutes or less) and some of the films were miniseries that had a runtime of several hours. This adds up to 659.1 hours of film/short film/miniseries media I consumed. Granted, there were a number of films I rewatched but didn't log because I thought seeing me watch 100 Bloody Acres for the 25th time might have been weird. Though I plan on not holding back on logging my rewatches in 2024. So the number of hours watched in 2023 is probably way higher than shown. 😅 330 out of the 401 were films I had never seen before. 5 out of the 10 top watched actors are Australian! (no one is surprised.) Hugo Weaving I thought was Australian but technically he's British but has lived and worked in Australia since he was about 16. Tim Roth and Damon Herriman take spots 1 & 2 of my top watched actors. I watched 38 films from Tim Roth's filmography and 34 films from Damon Herriman's. I love my short kings!
