I initially posted this on discord, but I know there’s an active GT Karber fanbase here so here goes: I’ve been thinking about Letterinth for a while, notably that we don’t really get much in the way of our protagonist/central chaarcter’s lore. Murdle’s site has Logico titling each case, and appearing at the end to watch the guilty party get led away, and Bordergrams has a prequel to the story and direct communication to B as a Trainee. Letterinth doesn’t have anything.

And also the hint system warning us of a terrible fate… Bordergrams doesn’t have hints on its site, but with Murdle, while it’s framed as shady and underhanded, Irratino never lies or deceives you. And the wording is generally less malevolent. It just says we’ll be disappointed that Logico didn’t entirely deduce it himself. And in part, Letterinth’s Oracle does the same - they say that the cost is the satisfaction, but the wording (to me at least) frames it as a lot more horrifying beforehand compared to Irratino.

So, I’ve been wondering if perhaps we’re playing as the Minotaur trying to escape, and every time we consult the Oracle we’re actually further damning ourselves, becoming more and more like the beast that was meant to be confined, and by remembering language and quotes we’re working to regain our humanity and free ourselves. Idk, probably not, but it’ll be neat to see what the Letterinth lore is.

Big news, folks and folkettes!

Letterinth’s got its own daily puzzle now! (B complaining in the background that his book never got any daily :P)

So here’s the About page:

Looking at this, Letterinth seems to be themed around Greek mythology, provided the whole Minotaur and Oracle thing is indicative of what the book will be like. (Which throws a wrench into my Puzzle Book Cinematic Universe, in that case :P) Also, hi unnamed oracle, if I’d learned about this sooner I’d have drawn you, if I had a nickel for every puzzle book with a vaguely mystic ally to our hero I’d have two and a half nickels. And I say half because I’m not entirely sure Ty fully counts :P

Anyway, the quote is pretty easy and I’ll let y’all figure it out without spoiling it (took me a bit of thinking, admittedly ^^;) but also we can submit our own quotes :0

Time to submit various quotes from fanfiction and pretend they’re from totally legit sources :D

Let’s just hope for their sake their lives are more Murdle and less Bordergrams :P
