This is a poster I finished working on in Book Arts Collaborative this week. It has been interesting to participate in this immersive learning course where we typeset and print by hand on presses from the early 1900s alongside this modern document design course. I handpicked six different typefaces (letter by letter) to design the text in a way that grabs your attention and fulfills an aesthetic. I chose a vibrant red and complimentary green ink as well as a dark purple to make the smaller text stand out. I chose blue ink for the advertisement part so that your eye is drawn down to the information after seeing the poster.
