The @ellesstudio October release has just some awesome Halloween-themed goodies, which I put to use on a layout about our 2020 Halloween activity of watching classic Hitchcock. I cut a giant circle out of black cardstock to invoke the feeling of a camera lens, and the new Medium Jane Alpha stamps allowed me to create my title. Do you have a favorite classic “scary” film? It’s my first post

During quarantine I wanted to try and open a blog. It’s a chance for me to share my art, work on my english and maybe connect with new people.

So my first post is about this is an experimental typography project i did in school. It was made with very cheap and bad rubber stamps of hebrew letters and ink. The original font is called “David” but it’s very janky because of the low quality of the manufacturing of the stamps. So I took this shitty stamps, dipped them once in ink and started stamping words, sentences and poems again and again until they completely disappeared. I got some very pretty ink stains from this process, so I scanned them and printed on a much larger scale. The project went on, but this was the part I liked the most.

I’m absolutely swooning over the Pop Art look you can get when you combine the Large Jane Outline and Polka Dot Alphabet stamps from @ellesstudio. I’m just loving making pages with long titles using the many combinations I can get from these stamp sets. And did you hear that there are matching dies for these now?! I thought the pack of colorful labels in the latest @ellesstudio release would be perfect to highlight snippets of a long day of traveling, and I was right! I printed my photos at sizes that would fit inside some of the labels and filled a few more with stamps, die cuts, and stickers from the February kit and extras. And did you see the new striped Large Jane Alpha stamps?! I used them with the outline versions I already loved to create the letter codes for all of the airports we went through on this day.
