I love blink, green day, and all that! My friend is Obsessed with 5sos and constantly says they are the blink-182 of our generation:( how do I break it to her that blink is the blink of this generation??

Ok, first of all. blink-182 is the blink-182 of our generation. green day is the green day of our generation. fob is the fob of our generation. alt is the alt of our generation. STOP THIS SHIT. Stop comparing the bands. This is never gonna be this. Saying that 5sos is the blink-182 of our generation is like saying that Justin Bieber is the new Michel Jackson. They don't even have anything in common. I don't want to offend the fans, I have a bunch of friends that are fans of them and I respect your taste in music, but for me the only difference between 5sos and a boy band like 1D, is that 5sos can play their own instruments.

is a random post, not just about his blog actually, is about every blog that do this shit. I personally don't like the self-promo because I think that the person who does that is taking the credits from the person who had the fucking work to make the gif/edit the pic for you, I know that most of you when see a self-promotion don't look at who actually had the work to do the gif or to edit the photo, you just look the blog who is self-promoting. But I have nothing against the people, especially him. I follow his blog, I like it and I reblog a bunch of stuff from him. But who follows me, know that I've started taking off the self-promotion every time I reblog a pic, every self-promotion, just leaving the comments. I'm not defending him here, because do what he does is against the tumblr rules and is as fucked up as repost pics/gifs.
