Being around allistics is exhausting because why is it that if I take your comments seriously, I’m an idiot, but as soon as I’m exaggerated or sarcastic back I’ve “gone too far”?

“You should get hit by a car” when said by an allistic is obvious hyperbole but if it’s said by me it’s suddenly a horrible thing to wish on someone and I’m a monster.

My tone gets misinterpreted as hostile a LOT, especially for some reason on tumblr where making a short nice request warrants a 500k word rant about ‘anon hate’. I could write a text with the kindest tone possible, smiley faces included, and still somehow slip and tumble into an argument I didn’t even start.

One of the horrors of being autistic on the internet I fear.
