Levi Ackerman x Reader After you give birth to your son:

The sun casts a soft and warm glow through the hospital window enveloping the ward, welcoming an arrival into the Ackerman family.

You sleep peacefully on the hospital bed taking a much needed nap after the painful labour you went through, Levi's shirt wrapped around you for comfort, he didn't want to come next to you on the bed as he was afraid he would disturb you sleeping.

Hes sitting on a chair next to your bed your son nestled safely into his chest taking small subtle breaths.

Levi brushes a finger along his new born sons face taking in his features, hes astonished at how similar he looks to the both of you.

suddenly you stir and wake up your eyes coming to settle at Levi and your son you smile softly "Levi-" you begin.

His eyes already soft look towards you and you feel like melting they get you every time.

He puts a soft finger to your lips and caresses your cheek "rest" he says and presses a gentle kiss into your hair.

You smirk "Do I have to? I'm fine-" Your cut off by your child making happy gurgles. Levi hands him over to you and puts his arm gently around you your son opens his brown/blue eyes and sees the both of you and starts to laugh.

You can't help but smiling and laughing too, you look to Levi and hes already looking at you, heart overfilling with love for you- the love of his life, his wife, the mother of his child and for his newly born son- the child whom both of you created.

He softly kisses your lips, letting himself tell you about how hes feeling right now and then kisses your head.

"Thank you....for bringing our little miracle into this world" and rests his forehead on yours.

You smile softly "anything for you Levi".

"Love you...brat" he whispers.

You softly chuckle "Love you too Levi".

The baby coos and you both laugh.

Levi x Reader Pregnancy Headcanons

Levi would 100% be the most protective of you in general but if you were pregnant you better watch out. This man would not leave your side.

You are already pretty clingy but pregnant you would be up this man’s ass at all times. He would give all the extra attention you wanted.

He’s not very touchy feely but your hormones would make you want him to be, and you’d beg for him to be touching you at all times. He’d eventually oblige, but he’d roll his eyes.

He would be internally panicking but he’d never show it to you, but you could tell. He’d worry about whether or not he’d be a good dad. He never had any parents around so he wouldn’t know exactly how to be.

You’d constantly tell him what a great dad he’d be. How you could wait to see him with your child, how happy it made you that he’s the person you’re having a baby with. You’d do whatever you could to reassure him.

He’d have everything set up within the first couple months. Pristine tip top shape nursery. The best baby cot he could find. Lots of cute stuff, and he’d clean that room every single day to ensure dust wouldn’t collect. He’d make sure he used all clean chemicals though!

Whenever your hormones made you act out he’d hold his tongue and never blow up on you. He’d definitely be a lot sweeter, making sure he never did anything to hurt your feelings or upset you.

Even though he was scared he’d be excited. Mainly because he hope your child had all the best parts of you and he couldn’t wait to have something a part of you both in his life.

He’d wake you up every morning with herbal tea and prenatal vitamins. He’d always make sure you took them.

He’d also make sure you ate super healthy. He’d say “This is what the books are saying you need to eat”. He’d be reading those every single day.

He’s trying his absolute best.

He wouldn’t let you get up for anything. Or do anything alone, except use the bathroom. He’d want to make sure you were always be as safe as possible.

“Take a fucking bath you could slip in the shower y/n”

After awhile you’d start to feel bad because of all the stress he caused himself and you’d do everything you could to relieve him of it.

This mostly was just reassuring him how great he was being and how much you loved him and what a great dad you’d think he’d be.

You’d try to get him to tone it down, but he never listens.

You’d just accept it and take the extra cuddles/extra attention while it lasted. Because you knew once that baby came it would all go to it him/her.
