GUESS WHO GOT BTS TICKETS

When she was just past 21, Taylor Swift went on a world tour. And in a time when my silly 15 year-old self imagined cartoon Princes and Romeo when Taylor’s voice asked for him to not be in love with someone else, or that when he thought of their song that he would think of her, and how perfect the moment would be when I was finally kissed in the rain, my mom and I got to see her. And as I cried for her heartbreaks and I jumped with her joys that night became etched into my marrow. 

Now, I am 21, and thanks to a sale because of taxes, of all things, I am going to get to see Taylor Swift again. And though my mom in San Diego isn’t going to be going with me I am going be standing next to the man that made all those songs sound true. On May 11th, in section 413, row 12, seats 23 and 24 I am going to be the luckiest person in that massive room. 

I had happily resigned to feeling unabashed joy for everyone attending this tour and I cannot believe I get to be one of them. Glendale, have the night of your life tonight. 

And @taylorswift, I would be enchanted to meet you, but no matter what, I can’t wait to see you again.
