His lips brushed across her brow as he helped her remove the coat, letting out a low pleased hum noting it was no longer clammy. The treatment had been rough on her, leaving Lois suffering symptoms she assumed were from the flu. It was the season after all, and he'd struggled not to laugh at her grumbling about a waste of oranges.
'You look much better, Lois.'
A good thing, it meant the newest injections had managed to survive her immune system. She hadn't noticed that opening the door she'd left shallow indents in the handle, lightly taking hold of her wrist with two fingers resting against her pulse. A little rapid, but then Lois occasionally enjoyed being spoiled, pampered, and the restaurant had been one she'd been dying to go to but both had been distractingly busy.
All in all the experiment was going extremely well, so he'd happily turned in a few favors in order to get them a table. Was more than willing to waste an exorbitant amount of money just to delight her for how much the progress was delighting him. Watching her blink at the menu, he smirked knowing the lack of prices next to items was a concern.
'Anything you'd like, Lois.' He reiterated what he'd told her in the car. 'We're celebrating your health, there's no price that I wouldn't be willing to pay.'
@rcliicta's lois has been invited to the garden...
