SO, something I see a lot when it comes to shadow shipping (mainly with Sonadow and Shadamy) is that the S/O wouldn't work because they "remind Shadow too much of Maria." Personally, I've always head cannoned that Cream was most like Maria (which obviously wouldn't be a shadow s/o) but really you could make that statement with any of the characters since until Shadow Gens we didn't have too much to go on in terms of Maria's character outside of hazy amnesia impaired memories... SO THATS WHY I MADE THIS COMIC!

it's been so long since I've drawn humans and even longer since I've drawn a comic that isn't shipping based so forgive me if the pacing and characters are a little weird. I'm trying. Also working on a big old character study that's really just for me to understand how to draw more sonic characters better and add my own style to it. because I want to make more comics and have a lot of ideas so, if you like shadows design in this, stay tuned for more? I guess? Anyhow take a baby shadow sketch for reading this.

(i know shadow is immortal and was created fully developed but i choose to ignore that and head canon that he grows/ages normally and is just the freaky alien part for my own personal happiness.)

somethin about how ralsei is kris' monster-sona and somethin about how flowery is asriel's human-sona which implies somethin about how kris (fake) hates azzy because he's so perfect or somethin but azzy still loves kris and wants whats best for them or somethin and their general personalities are swapped or somethin so rals sweet and flowerys a menace to society and also somethin about how all the stuff flowery and asgore do are classic father son bonding activites like fishing taking your dad out for lunch and somethin about going to see the cowboy shows you and your kids loved... or somethin

Like I said in my last main post, this is purely a reference for me, so I can make more comics with more of the characters. To be totally honest, I didn't intend to redesign the characters. BUT I definitely ended up doing that haha!

I knew I wanted to give them all clothes because of like what I said in my first sonic post I've always been a little weirded out about how only the girls have to wear clothes so instead of taking my beloved fashion away, I gave the guys clothes too. I tried to keep Team Sonic & Rose simple in their designs in order to keep that free spirit vibe I think is the whole point of the characters (or at least sonic) being so adamant against clothes.

um sonic's a nudist though... idk I just can't see him wearing clothes guys. Hes saved the world hundreds of times so no public decency arrests for him thank goodness.

Pretty happy with how these came out. The only ones I might change are silver and blaze because they're very... complicated to draw (I added the complications myself -_-) But hey ones a princess and the others from the future so I thought it be cool.

I might come back later and make another big reference with more characters like the Chaotix, Big, Omega, Some villians. BUT NOT ANYTIME SOON.
