We are fund raising for a indie series following the main character, Drew, getting glitching into the dreaded backrooms. He meets crazy ass creatures and people. We have a whole script and team already. With the first episode already wrapping up production, We need a lil bit of money to continue pay our amazing artists and voice actors. Our collective "ForeverRare" has been around since 2020 makin music, and now we're entering the world of indie productions! Anything and everything will help us out.

Legends From the Backrooms is a passion project directed by a man named Isa. He's an amazing boss that cares about real art (no AI here) and treats his artists like we matter. We're a very small team just over 50 members consisting of animators, voice actors, body actors, writers, editors, monetary contributors, and friends. We're all nerds. We're all fandom geeks. We all love fun kinda creepy backrooms content! It's just our small team and or little circle of friends, no corporate chains. We have full creative freedom and intend to make a cool story with fun creatures like the backroom gods intended. The largest defamation case in US history has begun—it involves pink slime

“ In a trial that begins today (June 5) in Elk Point, South Dakota, Beef Products Inc. will make the case that reporting errors and omissions in a series of reports by ABC News on so-called ‘pink slime’ created a panic that resulted in the company having to close three of its four processing plants, and sparked a revenue drop of more than 80%. “

I suggest following the internal link to the more complete Reuters report. The QZ summary isn’t particularly substantive. In any event, I’m happy to see this is the news. The hysteria generated over the use of (MS)LFTB - that’s mechanically separated lean finely textured beef - was absurd. Moreover, the technology was not broadly employed and so the “smears” struck a single producer particularly hard. This isn’t like slamming a producer with a recall due to a contaminant - BPI was producing an approved product via an approved process.

Don’t have much hope for the plaintiff’s case, but I wish them luck.
