One TADC critique I heavily disagree with is that there isn’t enough evidence of Jax being trans

Ignoring the many blog posts you can find on this topic, trans people’s ‘evidence’ is for them to figure it out, not you. People can also just suddenly realize they’re trans because of something as simple as, “I’m neutral on these terms and like these other ones”. Not to mention the gender bs that is used to further push things like “all boys like this and all girls like this”.

AMAB People can like dresses and it not be related to transness just as much as, as that person sees it, that action and thing they like is a sign of not aligning with the gender everyone says they are

This is one of the most annoying things about conservatives though. They will pretend to have values that a lot of people with agree with. Because sure, plenty of people will be against censorship. If you claim that you are against censorship, then I bet a lot of people will cheer you on.

But you don't need to look far to see that it's a massive lie. They are all for censoring LGBT content, books, rainbow flags, signs saying that everyone is welcome...

What they are against censoring is racism, homophobia, sexism, and literal Nazi rhetoric.

But I guess "I support censoring marginalized people but not Nazis" isn't as popular of a platform. Go figure. 🤷‍♀️

Ya know I think Harry Potter and the Cursed Child could be read as a queer story.

Cause like think about it! Albus and Scorpius’ closeness, Harry at first not understanding but eventually coming to accept Albus, the bullying, Dumbledore telling Second Timeline Harry to accept Albus as he is, Second Timiline Harry trying to separate them because he doesn’t understand and think Scorpius is “wounding” Albus, all of it, especially the conversation towards the end about Harry allowing Albus to be who he is, and Albus saying Scorpius is the most important person in his life, aaaaa!!! Especially without the stuff about Scorpius having a crush on Rose lol

I doubt it was on purpose, especially considering that it was written by Rowling (who, as we know, isn’t the best for representation purposes), but I really like choosing to see it that way.

OK so this week at the barn (background: I run a stable, we do a lot of camps for kids, this week is Drama on Horseback, yes that is as awesome as you might imagine. They are learning to fall off the horses stunt rider style. I had to buy foam swords and red silk scarves in bulk. They made up their own play and it's basically Romeo and Juliet only Romeo is a trans woman-horse because obviously and absolutely everyone will die except one kid and horse combo who apparently are offing everyone so they have more time to do yoga.)

Anyway they're doing their lines improv style and the kid who is riding the Juliet horse is all "so all I say back to Romeo right now is 'I love you' and that seems... inadequate. What do the homos say to each other when they're in love?"

FRIENDS. I feel we can help this poor lost soul who is but a wee twelve year old babe in the woods. What DO the homos say to each other when they're in love??
