when the second season for lgc babysitting services were announced, junghwan didn’t waste a second in signing himself up and he was absolutely ecstatic when they casted him. he’s always watched the show and he’s always wanted to be in it. but really, he’s more excited that he’s got more chance to play with the kids than the dreading fact that he’s there to literally babysit them. he’s also really nervous, now that he thinks about it. being the youngest in the family doesn’t give him ample experience in taking care of children. sure, he’s always said how much he likes taking care of his friends, but his friends aren’t exactly toddlers anymore. not to mention he’s also very awkward around people he meets for the first time.

it was safe to say that under all his excitement were worries he’s always had. it made him nervous up until the cameras finally start rolling. the odds seem to be enjoying his favor. the kids seem to take a liking to him, if the pair of kids clinging to his jeans was any indication as they patiently wait for their turn to be carried. but he was a little out of breath from playing with them and he wanted to sit for a bit. luckily, the kids don’t seem to mind.

woosung, bless his kind soul, has been a wonderful partner. he has given him helpful tips on how to survive the day and junghwan has been clinging onto them the whole time - and it obviously did him good. with a sigh, he plops himself right next to other male, letting the kiddos sit beside him. “i’m pretty sure i was this hyper when i was a kid, too” he muses just as one of the kids give him a gummy smile and he practically melts. “but i don’t remember myself being this cute? these kids are the cutest oh my goodness...”

“hey, buddy? what’s up?” he asked carefully as the other seemed incredibly stiff in his movements leading up to the recording. a hand moved forward to carefully rest upon woosung’s shoulder and give it a squeeze. “are you nervous? you don’t have to be. just do it as we practiced and it’ll be no problem at all i’m sure!” lukas was very much aware that his words were pretty big and that the younger did not share the same pretense of confidence he himself had. but even so, they were going to do this, not because either of them wanted to per say, but because they had to.

fixing his own collar, lukas gave woosung a glance over, up and down, before giving him a thumbs up. there was not much time left before they got their cue, and lukas shuffled a bit uncomfortably in his seat before shooting a smile at the camera that was supposed to film them. the count went down before someone yelled ‘action!’ in the background.

immediately, lukas held a hand over his eyes as he seemed to look upwards. “that’s weird,” he stated. “the forecast said it would be a sunny day today.”
