**ramen with hyung
lgcjunkyuâ:
with the trainee mission and him practicing a lot more than he normally would, junkyu hadnât had much time to himself or to meet any of his friends. not like this, at least. it felt refreshing, and like a time for him to be able to sit back and relax a little bit and just enjoy the moment with some company. he misses being able to meet up and talk with his friends often like he use to, but lately his mind was elsewhere and trying his best to improve his skills when it came to singing. it was a whole new thing for him, and heâs been trying his best to improve, even despite his lack of confidence with it. âah, itâs okay, donât worry about it. iâve not been the best at keeping in contact with people lately either. this mission has really took more of my mind than i really thought.â junkyu admits with a slightly sheepish tone and look on his face.
it was close to a perfect balance for him, the practice time vs his own time. even though he clearly spent more time practicing, for him it was important how he distributed that free time he had to make it feel good and freeing. sometimes, spending half an hour or an hour with someone he enjoyed being around was just what he needed.
raising his head, junkyu glances up at junghwan with a surprised look on his face. âoh, really?â he responds, quickly munching on the mouthful of ramen he had in his mouth. head dropping to grab another bit of ramen, he shoves it into his mouth and looks up at junghwan again, watching him as he talks about the fashion week. heâs quite surprised actually, and just hearing that heâd be going to three different places makes him beam in excitement for him. âwhat cities are you going to?â he questions, swallowing the ramen and grabbing ahold of his drink to take a few quick sips.
âah, when it comes down to it, you guys are way busier compared to us,â junghwan comments before he dives right back to eat some more of his ramen. the flavor fills him and the warmth settles deliciously in his belly. he grabs a few kimchi too, swallows and then adds, âitâs fun and all but donât forget to rest whenever you can, yeah? if not, iâll drag you out for impromptu dates again like today,â he grins.
junghwan has always been a good listener. prefers it even. thereâs just something about listening to his friends talk about their day or gush about the latest thing they enjoy. it sounds cliche but he really does enjoy the way peopleâs faces light up when theyâre talking about the things they like and he finds himself enjoying that short time all the more. not everyont could understand where heâs coming from, though. junghwan also loves sharing to his friends about the things he enjoys doing, and most times he finds it hard to stop talking.
modeling proves to be a topic he absolutely loves.
âi believe weâre going to milan, paris and londomâ junghan states, mentally checking if he remembered correctly and nods when heâs sure that heâs right. âthree capitals for fashion week. can you believe it?â he gushes. âi gotta brush up on my english, i think.â

lgcjakeâ:
it wasnât every day this happened, but it was also common for colorful swears to leave jakeâs mouth. he never was good when it came to words, so you got what he gave. âyou bet it is, going out the fucking window with the attitude.â he hisses through his teeth, glaring at the piece of furniture. it doesnât take long before he is pretty calm. enough to look at his shin, a rather unpleasant bruise already forming. jake sighs loudly.Â
âboth..â he adds soon after and pouts at junghwan. âthat hurt a lot more than it should.â he says after a short pause and sighs yet again. âwhat tea are you gonna make me tho?â the dancer asks, brows raised as he makes his way to his friend, limping ever so slightly because fuck it hurt okay. jake knew it would be gone in a few more minutes, but that bruise was gonna stay unfortunately.
"leave the poor table alone. we might need to use that again... someday," junghwan couldn't help but continue to giggle as he watches jake's annoyance and anger practically reach its peak. if he's going to be really creative about it, he can even imagine steam coming out of the other male's nose and ears. he'll never tell jake that, though, now when he needs all of his limbs intact and working. so instead, he moves towards the kitchen to inspect on their tea flavor availability - which isn't really a lot.
âare you craving anything particular right now?â junghwan asks just as he goes to check the drawer where they keep their limited collection of teas and hums. "we have chamomile, your usual green tea and jasmine," he says. he's personally more of a coffee person, but he does enjoy a good cup of tea every now and then. it doesn't mean he knows how to properly make one, however. he then grabs an ice pack from the fridge for jake's bruise, wraps it in a clean towel then goes back to where he left jake. "but i can also cook for you if you want?" he says. now cooking he has more confidence in.

lgcsanghyunâ:
sanghyun looks at the other in a perplexed way as he wonders if he had done something wrong. but as he watches junghwanâs reaction, it doesnât take him that long to realize what is going on and what he could do to somewhat relieve the awkwardness. âyeah, thatâs fine. in fact, i think it makes it a bit lessâŠâ sanghyun trailed off before letting out a soft chuckle as he describes the situation in one word. âawkward.â and while it wasnât the type of awkwardness that sanghyun dislike, it was something that made him feel at ease (or at least to him, he doesnât look like a sore thumb standing next to the table and waiting for more food to come).
glancing at the table to see what else was available, he grabbed a drink before catching the last few words. âfavorite? oh, the chocolate chip one so far. it seems like they added a bit of salt on top so you get a good balance of sweet and saltiness.â he gave a serious response, almost as if he took pride of the fact that he could spot that with the few bites he had of the cookie. but when he sees the next performance about to start, things start to click for sanghyun as he realizes that it isnât what his favorite food was from the reception but rather what was his favorite performance.Â
âoh.â he gave an embarrassed look before trying to think of some sort of performance he could think of earlier that caught his attention. âall of the performances have been pretty interesting so far. itâs kind of nice seeing everyone show off their skills. how about you? do you have any favorites?â he hoped his response sounded convincing enough, but he wished there was one that he could talk about to indicate that he really paid attention to what was going on (and not on the food).
as much as junghwan loves making friends and socializing, somehow, he always ends up being the awkward link in the circle. he's slowly getting better at it, thankfully. the events and schedules they've had so far has help him immensely in that regard, but he does have his moments where he returns to his awkward self. but when he really thinks about it, he doesn't become speechless when he's thrown into an awkward situation anymore, which is also some sort of progress for him in his opinion. effort to keep the conversation going is a good sign, right?
junghwan hums as he listens sanghyun's reply, belatedly realizing that it's a different answer from what he originally asked. still, it's not an unwelcomed response. the chocolate chip cookies they served are delicious, so he understands why it's become the other male's favorite. he couldn't help but chuckle at that, however, as he turned to look back at sanghyun to give him a bright grin. "for the record, the chocolate chip cookies are delicious!"he says. "they're my favorite, too!" and just like that, as he feels the awkward air around them gradually melt. it's still there, but progress is progress, and for that, he's glad.
ah, sanghyun was right. everyone did well with their performances that it's a little hard to have a favorite. it feels unfair somehow if he did. "will it be weird to say that i don't have a specific favorite?" he says with a light chuckle. the performances are all creative and fun to watch. it's definitely brought more laughs and color into the celebration and everyone in the room are obviously enjoying themselves. "everything has been wonderful, really, and i like them all? does that sound so cliche?" he laughs lightly. "but i do like them all!"
masterchef legacy : interview chocolate eclair with yoon shinha! +5 singing, +2 notoriety
"eclairs," junghwan stresses, laughing as he repeats the mame of the dessert they were told to make as their first mission in masterchef. "i can still clearly remember how terrified i was when they announced it because one, I've never made eclairs before; and two, i am actually not as familiar with baking," he chuckles, blushing a little in embarrassment. there was no point in trying to hide that truth when they were probably able to film his utter confused face when the mission was announced.

lgcnatalieâ:
the wedding was essentially a good way to catch up with friends who have had their own schedules whilst being under the company. through the three years sheâs been at legacy, she was able to befriend a lot of new faces who sheâs gotten to see flourish in the next few years to come. and though there is a little bit of envy towards them being able to accomplish so much before she can, sheâs overall glad to see them succeed in life. itâs also enough motivation for her to work just as hard so that she doesnât miss out on the future that includes âofficial schedulesâ⊠the ones sheâd fantasize about while sheâs in the bathroom with her hairbrush as a microphone or as a prop for her âfuture photoshootâ.
she was glad to be able to get back in touch with most of the friends she doesnât get to see around anymore. but after her and tianâs performance from earlier, plus her doing more socializing than sheâs used to doing, her throat was getting a little parched. so whether or not it was intentional or by pure coincidence, when she hears junghwan call out to her and then offering her a cup from the table, sheâs more than delighted⊠that and the fact that he called her sunbae. her head always gets big when people older than her call her that.Â
âjunghwan-oppa! itâs been a while,â she responds with a smile on her face as she takes the cup. it has been a while. the last time sheâs heard from him was before he had some schedules overseas, so itâs nice to see him again after all of that. âiâm good! you came in time. i was getting a little thirsty. thank you for this, by the way,â she says with a chuckle before she takes a sip. âhow about you! howâve you been? with your travelling and all?âÂ
"that's nice to hear! and I'm doing good, too, thank you for asking," he replies with a smile. hearing how chirpy natalie is, junghwan couldn't help but grin even brighter. one down side of having a schedule overseas is that at some point, you tend to miss your friends, even if it was only a few days. plus, he really is happy to see natalie again, excited to be telling her how well he did with socializing with the native english speakers overseas without him mentally crashing down from information overload. there's a sense of pride as a student, if that makes sense.
junghwan moves to sit beside her so they can converse with more ease. "oh, it went very well! the event was amazing, and the cities were as beautiful as they said it would be," he sighs dreamily, remembering how awesome paris, milan and london had been and how amazing the whole experience had been. he already misses it. he wonders when they'll be able to come back. "i took lots of photos, as usual," he grins. traveling is the perfect opportunity to indulge his photography hobby, after all.
"but i also have some good news, for you!" junghwan chirps. "first- here, i got you some souvenir," he says as he hands over a small paper bag that contains a few ref magnets from all three cities, keychains and a cute looking scarf he saw. "i hope you like them. consider it as a thank you gift as well for those english lessons you gave me," he grins. "I'm very proud to say i survived those weeks without getting a single nosebleed! i also didn't run out of english this time!"

lgcsanghyunâ:
for most people, attending an event as grand as this was exciting especially that it was a great chance for people to reconnect with other people they hadnât seen in a while due to their busy schedules. but after fashion week and the other projects that happened right afterwards, sanghyun wished that he could have a day off to relax a bit. however, that wasnât the case when he was told to attend the celebratory event. fortunately, one of the few things that made this event somewhat tolerable for sanghyun was the food.
heading back to the food table, sanghyun glances around to see what was available. while there were some that he already tried, there were a few that he hadnât tried yet. turning his head slightly, he noticed that there was only one cookie left (which to him meant that it had to be good). sanghyun reached for the cookie but as he placed his hand on top of the cookie, he notices that heâs not the only one who wanted it too.Â
âhuh? i can always waiââ he stopped abruptly when he realizes who he was talking to. seeing that it was junghwan, sanghyun instantly thought about how he should let the other have the cookie instead of him. to sanghyun, he didnât mind having to wait for another batch of cookies to be restocked since he could tell already that the concert was going to last for at least another hour or so. with a shy smile on his face, sanghyun offered the cookie to junghwan, âhi. uhâŠhere, you can have the cookie.âÂ
when sanghyun tells him he can have the last cookie was the exact moment shyness hits him full force. the older male is just being kind, he knows, and it's not like the cookie tray won't be refilled sooner or later considering the amount of attendees and the duration of the party, but still. it has his ears heating up (because it blushes faster than his cheeks) at the realization that he may or may not have eaten way more cookies than intended. in his defense, they taste good, and it would be a waste to not... eat it... so in the end he shyly succumbs to his sweets cravings.
"sorry- don't mind if i... do..." junghwan says, shyness evident in his voice as he slowly takes the last cookie and places it on his plate. somehow, he feels too shy to eat it right there and there, a little too self-conscious for some reason - something he tries to ignore as he clears his throat. he briefly wonders if it's weird for him to stay there as he (they?) wait for the staff to refill the cookies.
"i hope you don't mind me waiting here for their next... cookies batch," he finds himself saying as he pulls his phone out again and tries to take another photo of the stage, an attempt to hide the way his cheeks are blushing again. a new performance is about to start. "everyone really worked hard for their performances, huh? they're doing awesome!" he chirps. âdo you have a favorite so far, hyung?â

lgcshinhaâ:
Being someone who cooks for a hobby, Shinhaâs mind naturally and habitually turns to chef mode as soon as he steps foot in a kitchen or thereâs even talk about making food. Itâs just instinct now. Despite having been cooking for so long now, Shinha still gets nervous and uneasy when he cooks, especially if itâs something new or he hasnât tried before. Baking is something heâs only tried a few times but heâs never had to make anything like this. This was going to require all of his knowledge (and more) if they were to get through this.
Shinha smiled and gave Junghwan a nod in confirmation to his question. Shinha had a tendency to get serious when cooking and, unfortunately for Junghwan, Shinha was heading in that direction. Heâd have to find a way to apologise to the male after the show. â If youâre feeling unsure you can do the filling and I can tackle the harder stuff if you want? â
He let out a chuckle at his partnerâs words. â Donât stress so much. Iâm sure youâll do fine. I have done some baking but not a lot and never anything like this so Iâm running on instincts here too. Still, Iâm sure weâll do great. â He smiled brightly. â Iâll get started on making the pastry and you can do the filling, ok? â
junghwan nods in affirmation. there was a huge chance he'll ruin the pastry if he were to try doing it, and he doubts they have enough time to do enough test runs for him to figure out what it was he needed to do to make it work. he knows his way around fillings and creams more, now that he thinks about it, so he's more than positive he'll be of more help in this area. "yes, thank you. i doubt we have enough time for me to do some test runs on those pastry so I'll... take over doing the filling," he says.
the more they spend together, despite the stressful circumstances this masterchef baking task if giving them, junghwan finds himself enjoying nonetheless. if you look past his clueless face and nervous eyes, you'll see he's actually excited to start with their eclairs. it helps that shinha seem to have stepped into the chef shoes a lot quicker than him. shinha's assurance have him the last push he needs to finally man up and get his head in the game. the other male has already said they were both not well versed in baking so he's not entirely alone. there's a reason these were done in pairs.
they'll be fine
"yes, we'll ace this one!" he chirps, shinha's reassurance hitting him all at once and giving him that much needed confidence boost. with the tasks split between them, he gets ready to work, pushing his sleeves up to his elbows as he musters all his chef spirit. "I'll start on that filling then. holler if you need anything from me, yeah?"
i survived (so letâs celebrate)-*
after the wild and enjoyable ride the fashion week event had been, it's nice to just relax and enjoy the slow pace this weird phase of 'after official schedules' period brings. and it's even more wonderful with the wedding announcements of ther CEOs and the celebration the company is planning, the hype just didn't have the time to even start to come down. it's safe to say he's still riding the excitement residue these events brings - not that he's complaining.
one thing he remembers to bring with him this time are some of the souvenirs he bought during the time he's granted some time to explore the three cities they visited for fashion week. he knows he's bound to meet his friends in the celebration, after all. but he can't bring everything, sadly, so he makes a mental note to continue his souvenir deliveries the next days to come. one person he purposefully seeks out is natalie. she had been kind enough to help him improve on his english, and junghwan strongly believes it's one reason he was able to survive three very foreign cities. she was such a patient tutor and he wanted to thank her properly and show her that he has, in fact, survived.
"sunbae!" junghwan chirps, already grinning when he's within her hearing range. it's always weird to be almost always older than most of his friends, but signing in a little later than them makes them his senior. it's become a habit around natalie, however, not that he minds. she is teaching him english. he gently hands her a fresh drink he had picked up from the food table. "i am back! how are you?"

cookies & wedding bells-*
the wedding announcement came as a surprise, but it's a warmly welcomed one. weddings are always something celebrated, and everyone's happiness for the couple spread like wildfire. the mini concert the company has planned was something he had expected, and although he's as excited as everyone else, he couldnt, for the life of him, think of anything creative enough to add to it. so instead, he happily stepped back and decided to enjoy the show along with everyone - which, now, feels like a very good decision. the performances were all great, and he finds himself enjoying every single one.
seems like the company went all out, too. the drinks were refreshing and the food is delicious. his sweet tooth naturally drags him towards the dessert table - the cookie tray, to be more specific - more than anything. and he happily munches away as he enjoyed the performances, not noticing his plate has become empty until he wanted to grab another piece but gets none. he waits for the current stage to end before he excuses himself from the table to refill his cookie. just for the heck of it, he stops at the dessert table for a short while to take a quick photo of the stage. the decoration were done so well and the lights were practically calling his name. he can't miss the chance to take at least one photo. when he's satisfied with it, he goes to grab a plate and moves to take now what looks like the last cookie. but just when he's about to take it his hand bumps into another person's.
"oops-" he says in reflex, hand paused in mid-air. for a brief moment he contemplates taking the last cookie but then remembers he has eaten quite a few already so he should be fine. "sorry, you can have the cookie-" he looks up right then he grins, almost automatically, when he sees that it's sanghyun. thr older male is one of the few models he knows in lgc. they're not entirely close... yet, but he's hoping they'll be soon. "hello, hyung."

lgcxjinahâ:
when she finishes her confession she expects all sorts of reactions except for him to tear up in return. a surge of panic courses through her as she sees his tears, eyes widening in confusion. âI- wha- are y'cryinâ?!â her voice sounds concerned as he buries his face into her neck, her hands seeming lost for a while now that he was hugging her so tightly before she settles them onto his shoulder and the back of his head.Â
running her fingers through his hair she remains quiet, now being her time to listen to him melt her heart away with his words, her features slightly twisted in guilt. he was crying out of relief for her to finally openly return his feelings and even if she knew they had set themselves up for this scenario, she still feels bad for how long it had taken her to be honest about it.Â
looking up at him she doesnât stop to think that theyâre still very much in public as he moves to caress her cheek. reaching up as well to mirror his action she swipes her thumb along his cheekbone, chuckling fondly at how much of a mess both of them are.Â
âcry babyâŠ,â she murmurs, a fond smile on her lips as she chews on her bottom lip, content and happy.
hearing jinah's question, junghwan can only chuckle. her fingers through his hair successfully calms him down, though, and he realizes how much of a mess he probably look. he can only imagine how ridiculous they would look from an outsider's point if view - jinah crying and ranting moments before he began crying. they're such a mess, but he honestly wouldn't have it any other way.
junghwan acknowledges being called a cry baby with a small smile, still sniffling as he wipes some of his tears away. he instinctively leans more towards her touch, his eyes closed, enjoying the warmth of her palm against her cheek.
"sorry, I'm just really happy," he replies softly before he opens his eyes to look at her. he couldn't wish for anything else. he wonders if they'll get in trouble for what he's going to do but decides to throw caution out the window and gives her a quick peck on the lips. "this is the best christmas I've ever had," he admits with a grin.

lgcshinhaâ:
Shinha likes to think heâs a pro in the kitchen. Heâs been cooking for as long as he can remember. Even at the dorms, Shinha cooks most nights. Itâs somewhat of a peaceful and relaxing hobby (at least for him). So it wasnât hard to convince himself to sign up for Masterchef Legacy. After all, he had already done the babysitting show last season so why not try something new this time? Plus, he wanted to see how far he could push and test his skills and he wondered if heâd be able to pick up new ones along the way. He was expecting the challenges to be hard but this? This was next level.
Not only was he partnered with his cousinâs boyfriend (who heâs still trying to suss out), but the two now had to make a dessert. Shinha knew many recipes but desserts and baking were something else. Heâd only ever baked a few times but nothing like an eclair. They were screwed. Shinha let out a long sigh as he looked at the table and what was on it. Would they even be able to do this?
Shinha looked up at Junghwan. â Neither have I honestly so this should be fun, â he replied, a playful smile on his face. â Should we start with what takes the longest time? So that way we arenât rushing at the end? â
junghwan finds himself nodding absentmindedly. starting with what would take the longest time to prepare and do made sense. it'll save them time and if things go wrong later on, they hopefully still have enough time to do damage control. it's nice to know that at least one of them isn't panicking like him. he takes a deep breath and gently pulls the egg rack closer towards him. it's as if fate is mocking him. of course the baking part would take the longest time. he's royally screwed.
"okay, yeah, that makes sense. so we can start with baking, the pastry shells, right?" he says as he grabs onto some bowls, a saucepan and thing they can use for stirring later. if he remembers correctly, the pastry shells needs to be hollow for the filling. that means they'll need some basic pastry making ingredients - butter, flour and milk... right?
"i am honestly running on pure instincts here," he says and looks at shinha with an apologetic smile. "I'll go grab the flour, milk and butter from the fridge. I'm unsure to what tempreture we should pre-heat the oven, however," he admits. "I'm admittedly more confident in making either the icing or the filling."

lgcwoosungâ:
âAh, it looks like it might beâŠâ Thereâs no other logical explanation as to why the kids are all starting to slow down a little bit and Woosung is surprised that he didnât pick up on it sooner. âLook at you figuring it out before me, Jungwhan-ssi! Iâm telling you, youâre way better at this than you give yourself credit for!â Grinning he reaches over to pat Jungwhanâs shoulder comfortingly and then laughs as a little boy scrambles into his lap and starts fiddling with the zips on his jacket, even as he yawns cutely and rubs at his eyes.
âWhelp, now Iâm stuck.â
Shifting a little so both he and his new charge are a little more comfortable, Woosung looks over at Jungwhan, tilting his head a little. At the younger manâs compliments, Woosungâs ears turn slightly pink and he shakes his head, a bashful expression on his face. âAh⊠câmon man, like I said, youâre not giving yourself enough credit. I mean, after they got over their shyness when we first got here, they took to you like a duck to water!â He laughs softly and rubs his nose, grinning as the kid in his lap copies him for no reason except for âwhy not?â
âStill⊠if I managed to help you, Iâm glad! I guess it pays to have helped my mum with bringing up my little brother and sisterâŠâ Woosung pauses as his little friend gets up and tugs on his arm again, mumbling something a bout being sleeply. He nods and stands up before clapping his hands together once to get the kidsâ attention.
âEveryone~ Looks like itâs nap time, letâsââ Woosung breaks off as a wave a complaints meet his ears and for a moment his expression falls. Heâs used to Jiyoo fighting against her naps, but having ten or twelve kids all object together has him out of his depth. But before he can freak out too much, Jungwhan is beside him and restoring order and his next attempt to get the kids to choose their napping spot is much more successful. Breathing a sigh of relief as they make their may to the cupboard holding blankets and sleeping mats, Woosung gives Jungwhan a grateful smile.
âYou have them wrapped around your little finger, they love you.â he whispers almost admiringly. âI donât know what Iâd have done without you here, Jungwhan-ssi!â
the more woosung compliments him, the more he feels his ears heat up. as much as it makes him happy to hear someone with a more credible experience with taking care of kids than him to acknowledge his hard work (although he's quite unsure which part he can consider putting more effort to other than trying his best to gain their trust the first time they all met that same morning), he still can't help but feel shy about it. it has him smiling at the older male, though, chuckling lightly at how cute the little guy looks taking residence on woosung's lap looks despite looking very sleepy.
"thank you. yu're too kind, really, but it's probably beginner's luck or something," junghwan says as he makes sure he give woosung a grateful smile. "but it's probably also because my energy is running low, too," he adds with a light chuckle. "these little guys are so much fun to play with," which translates to very active little ones, but they don't need to know that, not when he gets a cute giggle in return. it's only a matter of time until the kids are hit with sleepiness, and the way the child adorably tugs on woosung's arm so they can sleep somewhere proves that. he doesn't miss the way the kids that stayed with him are obviously fighting a losing battle with sleepiness, too.
the collective complaint over the announcement of nap time was somehow something he expected, however, and he couldn't help but giggle a little. junghwan then carefully maneuvers one of the little boys who had fallen asleep so he can carry him around without jostling him. he then stands up with a light grunt and takes a hold of the other kid's hand who is now rubbing at his sleepy eyes. "ah, but you guys need more energy so we can play more later," he says to the kids to get their attention, unsure if that's one way to convince kids to nap or not. "how about woosung hyung and i nap with you guys? you can choose where you want to set your sleeping mats!" is that even possible? he hopes it is. the kids obviously have their own favorite hyungs by now, and the happy faces he gets as they finally agree to take a nap is a good thing, right?
junghwan quickly grabs a sleeping mat so the kid still in his arms can sleep undisturbed, setting the sleeping mat on on the floor. with both his arms free, he moves to help woosung with the rest, making sure to return the grateful smile that he received. "i am really happy i was able to help!" he chirps, grinning so big his cheeks hurt. the sincerity in woosung's words has him feeling warm. he's reminded of the reason why he wanted to be on this show and he's so glad he's able to achieve the initial goal that he wanted - he learned a lot and had fun with the kids and woosung. it's a very productive day! "i had fun with you guys here! if we the chance to play with the kids again, i hope we get paired again!" and he means it.

junkyu grins fondly at his dongsaeng, enjoying the brief attention he was getting from junghwan. junkyu himself certainly wasnât the oldest in the company, and he wasnât the youngest. he felt like he was in the middle, sort of. and he was use to being looked after in some ways, but in the way that junghwan was choosing to treat him with food warmed junkyuâs heart. plus, the ramen crave had been a bit stronger the last few days, one cheat day would be fine. it wasnât often when junkyu could show his hyung side considering most of those he knew and those who were his friends were the same age or older than him, and if he were being honest, he rather enjoys showing his hyung side. it made him feel capable to look after others. ânow, eat up!â junkyu urges.
he laughs softly at junghwanâs response, nodding his head. at this point, he wouldnât be surprised if his dongsaeng really would be able to tell when he was craving ramen, considering he had texted him at just the right time. maybe it was a secret talent of his that heâd find out the next time heâs intensely craving ramen again. hearing junghwan saying that he missed him makes junkyu awe lowly, a fond smile fighting its way onto his face, then breaking out into a soft laugh, careful to not be loud considering it was rather late at night. âitâs been a while since we were able to see each other like this, hasnât it?â junkyu responds, a sort of melancholy tone to his words. knowing that junghwan was that excited to see him that he practically flew out of the dorms makes him grin.
it feels like after not eating ramen for days, that the first time you eat ramen tastes ten times even better, and junkyu is wallowing in the pure taste of it. heâs unable to hold back the soft hums of delight as he slurps up some of the juice, chopsticks then digging into some of the kimchi for a slight spice taste. junkyu nods in response to junghwanâs question, munching on the kimchi and then swallowing. âyeah, everything helps in different ways. certainly wasnât my favourite thing weâre done, though.â he admits, chuckling briefly for a few moments before digging back in for another mouthful of ramen. âoh, really? what are you preparing for now?â
the warmth that the ramen broth gave him is more than welcomed. he couldn't help but sigh in both satisfaction and relief. the fact that junkyu is there with him to enjoy the food and company gives him a different kind of warmth, as cheesy as that may sound. the idea has him chuckling lightly to himself. has him grinning even as he answers junkyu's question. "it really has been a while," he nods. "ah, it feels like it's longer than it should, to be honest. it doesn't help that I'm bad at keeping in touch with you guys. I'm'm sorry," he adds and gives the older male an apologetic smile. it's one of his many bad habits, and he's trying his best to correct it somehow... or so he would like to think.
ah, junkyu was right. it does feel a little bittersweet when they're done with their schedules and projects. as you try to enjoy the free time you have, you can't help but miss all the chaos - from preparation to actual game time. it's a never-ending weird cycle, if you ask him. but such is someone's life in such an industry. junghwan then helps himself for another mouthful of ramen, savoring the broth and grabbing a few bites of the kimchi as well. they both deserved this.
junghwan hums at junkyu's question as he swallows his food. "hyung, we're going to fashion week!" he chirps, grinning so big that his cheek started hurting. if he had a tail, it's probably going to wag like crazy like the excitable puppy that he is. it still feels surreal to him, really, and reality probably won't hit him until the last minute but that doesn't mean he isn't excited about it. he doubts anyone is not excited, to be honest. "and i don't mean just one city - we're going for the whole event on three different cities! it's so exciting I'm almost buzzing," which, isn't exactly a lie.
fashion capital-*
lgcyumiâ:
yumi continues to admire the outfit from afar. high end fashion is such a hit or miss, but this outfit is absolute classiness. even though itâs not exactly something you would just wear on the streets, itâs also not impossible to see it there, which means that it is done well. âyou think so?â she asks, but her own question is more of a rhetorical one. sheâs likely not going to have a chance to wear it anytime soon.
she takes a glance at her watch and then back at the other beside her. âwe should probably finish up getting ready for tonightâs set,â she notes. âshall we maybe see if we can get all the modeling trainees together for a group photo or a meal or something sometime soon?â she smiles, thinking that they really havenât done much together as a group.
junghwan can only nod in agreement. at this point, he's more than convinced that his fellow lgc models will be able to pull off most of the outfits given to them. it's right at that moment that his attention was taken by someone wearing something that looked like leather - a white one. leather has always been one of his favorite fabrics, a close second to silk. and because he's more used to seeing black and brown leather, seeing a whole ensemble of white leather has his eyes twinkling. he wants it, very much so. it's yumi reminding him of the time that diverts his attention away from the outfit.
"oh, you're right! i forgot about the time," he chuckles, amused at how fast it is for him to get distracted by everything. he then scans the place again before he sees the team he's working with tonight waving at him to get his attention. he nods at them with a smile before looking back at yumi. "ah, that sounds wonderful! I'll help to try and gather everyone for a group photo later. for now, the team is looking for me. I'll see you later, yeah? thanks, noona!" he grins before giving yumi another polite bow and makes his way back to their little corner.
