OKAY SO! Life Haunts us All is a Life Series/Vsmp au where ~700-800 years prior to his Big Nap, Scott Goldsmith was in the Life Series (so yeah basically Scott was turned against will and immediately tossed into a death game for entertainment [jazz hands])

while LH!Scott is still Scott Goldsmith, he's ultimately a but different from canon Goldsmith (bc ✨️trauma✨️) so ofc, theres gonna be a lot of canon divergence thanks to the butterfly effect (trust me, I've tried, this guy does Not wanna be canon compliant)

Oakhurst is gonna be fun (for me<3, not for him<3) because Scott just woke up with his castle in ruins, his coven completely gone, and unable to feel the other Lifers through their Bond. And! he's trapped by a magical barrier with 13 other people, now doesnt that sound familiar :]

Loved your response to the anon wondering why Max didn’t just let Charles through because yes, Max would rather put them both in the wall, and he has - multiple times this season. Max is the top dog, and you don’t get there unless you shut the door on people so hard they’ll think twice about trying. Max would never have won this wdc without the mentality that he is going to fight tooth and nail for every point.

If you look down the grid they’re all like this, and the sorest losers are of course the best drivers, those who will never settle for second. There is a reason Max is yelling down the radio when things are not working, why Charles is so mad when people get in his way, why Lewis can’t truly be happy for George. Because they want it so bad and to get there they will have to show up to anyone else who dares to pass them. If Max let Charles through he might as well retire because that is the moment he will stop winning, where someone else will be there to take it from him.

This is honestly why I love sport - because the best will go to any lenght to win, and they’d rather quit than let someone get past them without a fight.
