@lhassinu OKAY okay, this is a longish list, and some of the episodes have more Kururu-focus than others, but!! This is a lot fewer than 358 episodes; it’s only like 44 episodes when you take the half-episodes into account. I’ve also probably left out some good moments, there are just so many episodes... I also went ahead and put the placements of where the movies should probably go in there. I do recommend all the movies, and also the Chibi Kero short that goes along with Movie 2, especially. All the titles in the list below are taken from Wiki, rather than from the way they’re actually translated in the subtitles on that site. (And I’m linking it again just for convenience.)

they are not popular characters so no speedrun for you, but please ve right about the dark avengers! or the hood, if you prefer! Please and thank you!
See, the Hood is a weird one, because I think it's simultaneously really easy and really hard to be right about him. Several writers have done different things with him, and they're all fairly valid?
What I mean is that, I think I would have preferred that after the BKV series they had played more with the fact that he was supposed to be a sort of antithesis to spider-man with the whole "with great power comes great opportunity" thing, but I also don't hate where they ultimately went with him? It makes sense that he would take on a role similar to Kingpin along the way.
I simultaneously want him to have some sort of redemption arc while also thinking that he's fine the way he is. That malleability kind of comes at a heavy cost, though, because it has ended up with Parker going through several arcs of reaching high highs and hitting low lows, and he's not really like Kingpin or Dr. Doom in the sense that he can rebound really well from his falls so it ends up feeling a little unsatisfying.
The biggest wrong writers have done, I think, is his family doesn't really feature as much as it should. Not just Sara and Bree, but also John. Plus like, they really dropped the ball on White Fang, I think she could have been a really cool nemesis for him, but no writer ever really grabbed that thread.
hello could i ask for demidevimon please and thank you? :3
Shitty Doodle Hour-
FUNFACT IS ive been outlining everyone in pink, and demidevimon would be the BEST at being a flyinh asshole cupid for valentines day
a literal embodiment of >:3
hi hello, im once again emotional over TBolts and I love reading your takes, so I was wondering if you could spare some thoughts? Abt anything 'TBolts as family' related really, but for instance how could they team up again, how could they bond? Or how would you continue that last Tbolts volume that was cut in the middle, what would happen woth Jolt & Ghost & Mel and everyone? BIG THANKS in advance but no pressure, feel free to ignore this!
Let me start by saying that anybody having big Thunderbolts feels is welcome in my inbox. (Even if you’re really just into one of them, that still counts.)
I think the original six T-bolts (plus Jolt) can always get back together. They shared a very unique experience that nobody else can really relate to. So there’s a bond among them, which persists even after they’ve turned on one another, that keeps them in each other’s orbit.
Looking back at Thunderbolts #1-12 (from the first series), one of the themes was how the characters’ attitudes changed because their environment had changed. Take Abe Jenkins and Melissa Gold. If those two had met in a regular villain team, they might still have hooked up. But being local celebrities, receiving fan mail, and living in a luxurious headquarters made them comfortable. And that comfort level let them open up more than they ever did with the Sinister Syndicate or the Grapplers. Now that’s an obvious example, because they fell in love, but on a more subtle level I think the same sort of thing affected the interpersonal relationships throughout the team.
As a result, you get a dynamic where the “good” T-bolts (Melissa, Abe, Erik, Hallie) feel an obligation to look after the black sheep of the family, and the “bad” T-bolts (Helmut, Karla, Bert) are always contriving some strategic reason to reunite with people who fundamentally oppose their villainy. The common thread among all of them is that they love one another, because they’re Thunderbolts, but they’re really bad at talking about it. (I think Kobik sort of understood this, and that’s why she wanted to be with the team. But since they don’t understand it, they failed to be the family she wanted.)
I don’t mean to ignore all the other characters that have been in the team. I like a lot of them, and some of them had pretty substantial character development experiences with the Thunderbolts that ought to be explored further. But with most of them, they joined for some purpose that eventually failed or fizzled out, or they were forced onto the team against their will, so it’s hard to think of reasons for them to go back. It’s easier to bring back the seven from Year One, because for them it can be less about the Thunderbolts being successful and more about a sentimental attachment. Although I suppose sentiment would be enough to bring back Hawkeye, Plantman, Man-Killer, Radioactive Man, Troll, and a few others.
If I was going to continue Jim Zub’s series where it left off in 2017, I’d focus on Ghost rescuing Jolt and Songbird and establish whatever it was Ghost was doing there. Then I’d have the three of them deal with the fallout of the last issue--confronting the T-bolts that left with Zemo, investigating what happened to Mach-X and Kobik, stuff like that. I’d contrast Songbird’s bitterness about the team with Jolt not being around for all the stuff that embittered her. Eventually there’d be some kind of status quo with a new team, but it’d take a while to set it up.
Honestly, at this point, the danglers from Zub’s last issue are a continuity pothole Marvel has chosen to totally ignore for three years, and it’d be a pain to go back and fill it in. So my preference these days would be to focus on what I’d like to see the Thunderbolts doing in the 2020s, and not worry about whether it’s consistent with whatever they were doing the last time we last saw them.
hi hello hopefully ill reblog ur art with the tags it deserves soon but for now, ITS AMAZING AND I LOVE IT AND ESPECIALLY BIG THANK YOU FOR THE DARK AVENGERS, TBOLTS AND HOOD AAA!!! I absolutely adore your designs and im v 👀!!! about your dark avengers AU??!!! Im definitely looking forward to see more art for it, also would you mind giving us more info about it?? Its ok if not and thank you so much anyway!!!!
I meant to answer this waaaaay sooner but I got districted with uni. Thank you so much!!! I’d love to talk about my Dark Avengers AU!! So it’s kind of like a thunderbolts/SHIELD/Dark Avengers AU. SHIELD hires the dark avengers under the guise of wanting their own superhero team and with the bonus publicity of reforming some of the worst villains. Most of the villains they hired are smarter than to believe that SHIELD actually thinks that they can achieve what both the thunderbolts and the dark avengers failed at. Which is exactly why a few of them join- to have some fun uncovering that mystery. The team is made up of Yelena Belova, Bullseye, Ikari, Lady Bullseye, Mac Gargan, Daken, Moonstone and Hood. Their direct handlers/team captains are Songbird and Victoria Hand. Songbird is in charge because she has captained the thunderbolts before and Victoria is in charge because she's worked with the dark avengers before. All in all I want to write this AU to explore my own interpretations of characters as well as show the growth of each character since their original time in the dark avengers. Some of the funs bits that I want to explore is the nature of Songbird and Moonstones frienemy status, bullseye and his little team he has created and Hood’s character inconsistency in the comics. Hoods is a special interest of mine because I have really stretched and created a fun concept for him. He was introduced in MAX comics as the antipeter parker which he kind of accomplished but the comics somehow making him perpetually middle-aged whereas he was introduced as a teen unlike peter who is a perpetual child forced into constant reboots to keep him young. To fix this I made up the idea that Parker uses something like a glamor to disguise himself much older so that his peers and enemies take him more seriously. This is especially fun for the dark avengers au because the rest of the team will be living with him and noticing his vocabulary and mannerisms better fit a 20 year old than the 40 year old he appears to be, leading to a lot of confusion and jokes. If you wanna know anything more or anything specific don’t be afraid to ask! Thank you so much for being interested in it!!
Hello, congrats for 4k+ followers, you deserve them n more!! :D And if you are still havin the party, could i maybe ask for Killer Moth please and thank you? :3
BOOM
Maybe Mike Crew for the character writing meme, please and thank you? Or if he doesnt inspire you, either Michael or Helen? Thanks!
i’ve never written any of those (yet?) except helen a tiiiny bit that i’m not happy with, but here’s what i think is important about them!
Mike:
actually p rude and haughty?? don’t be fooled
that fascinating implication that he completely changed when he became an avatar, to the point that he doesn’t even relate anymore to the feelings and thoughts he had before. Jon describes it later when talking to Georgie as avatars “losing themselves”. So Mike is so happy this way but only because… he may have been completely rewritten to be okay with it?? It’s fucking tragic??
avatar!mike seems fine with it but baby mike had so much fucking PTSD and was chased by the Spiral ;ww;
open shirt at all times
Michael:
is in for the long game, seems to enjoying tormenting more than the final eating
makes a lot of sense and i can’t remember a single time it ever actually lied on-screen? :s i feel like “Michael” might be… bad at being The Distortion, actually?
it likes to confuse people but it’s also very adamant on not being misunderstood and misinterpreted?
is it only good at lying to itself? :s
Helen:
more efficient than Michael, just eats
seems to get bored faster
is just here to have a good time. i feel like Helen’s character growth arc from late s3 to s4 may be summed up as her going from the “stereotype” to the “reality” versions of the “Nothing in life matters!” nihilism meme.
as much as some part of the fandom likes to revel in how unapologetically she feeds and to support her encouragement for Jon to do the same… she is not framed as being correct in-universe. she’s not good and right and it’s not a neutral position to take because “gotta eat!” “no ethical consumption under capitalism” etc. she is a monster and horrible and scary. Helen Richardson and “Helen” are fully a tragic figure and a horrifying story.
(tbh i miss the era of helanie and when she seemed to be just a fun, helpful, harmless monster that jon could truly be friends with and help out ;_;)
