Continuing the Legacy!!!

Today I was deeply saddened to hear of the deaths of two incredibly inspiring and beautiful young women. I had no clue that both Karyn Washington of For Brown Girls and Domineque Banks aka Longhairdontcare2011 (LHDC2011) had both recently passed away.The natural hair movement has spawned a wave of fresh-faced,influential black female icons.These women will be sorely missed from their number.Their loss is a tragedy.Yet, it is also an opportunity for learning and growth.We,the beautiful,powerful,brilliant black youth must seize the reins to make a positive change however we can,for as long as we can.Now is the time.These women lived to inspire, so may they continue to do so. What's your cause?

The natural hair community is sad to report that popular natural hair vlogger, Domineque Banks passed away earlier this week.

Saddened to hear of the passing of Domineque Banks (Longhairdontcare2011 on YouTube). Domineque lost her battle with Lupus at the age of 27 this week.
