I wanted to draw this scene after listening to Takedown hehe. Mira and Zoey was supposed to be Hetong and Lutong but I remember that Nezhas brothers exists.

Hey! I'm experiencing a bit of a motivation block, it often happens when I'm tired haha. I still continue to draw things and I have quite a few sketches to show.

I started exploring an initial design for Li Muzha. Being a middle child myself, I have so much sympathy for him.

I also doodled Leizhenzi and his brother Ji Fa.

A bunch of Bingling Gong sketches. (the third one is based on the fourth image i found on a chinese article about some of the gods, google translate said it was him)

Nezha and Muzha doodles

I was rewatching JTTW 1999 animated serie and when Muzha appeared I laughed because I thought it was hilarious that Nezha and him had the same hairstyle. So I drew him heavily inspired by the design from the cartoon. I was thinking of doing a comic but I got lazy.

Modern Nezha au headcanons (for fun, may change)

Nezha rough houses with Muzha. These two argue the most. They ragebait each other whenever they find oppertunity. They avoid ragebaiting Jinzha for........reasons.

Whenever Nezha disrespects Jinzha, Jinzha gives him silent treatment. Until Nezha apologizes (cause he can't handle being ignored)

Nezha doesn't have much friends at school. Ao Bing is his first friend

Nezha is smart despite not putting so much effort. İt shockes everyone who were expecting him to fail.

This was unexpected but Yin got pregnant with Zhenying. This shocked her each sons differently. Jinzha was sure that Nezha would be the last child, Muzha couldn't believe his parents and Nezha was against it. İt all changed when they sister was born. They loved her so much. Nezha spend more time with her the most. And that's why, Zhenying follows him like a duckling. Like two peas in a pod. Which makes everyone go "aww" at them Nezha: shut up.

Jinzha and Muzha are twins in this au (cause İ can)

Nezha was born when the twins were 12

Ao Bing used to have two big brothers

Ao Bing has a cat. He also have two uncles and one aunt who used to come over. His uncles are dumb dumbs while his aunt Ao Run dotes on him. His mother passed away.

Zhenying born when Nezha was 10.

Nezha has bullies that prank him but he outsmarts them so it's no big deal it still hurts.

Ao Bing has natural resting bitc face. Which makes him unaproachable at first. (İ just think it does make sense)

Did Li jing do nothing while Nezha was cast out? How about Nezha's brothers? What were most people's reactions to Nezha getting kicked out of heaven?

This one applies to both Black Myth, New Gods and 孙太子

I think Li Jing is also a victim of Heaven's bureaucracy, and while he would try to protest that his son's punishment is too harsh, he'd be shut down hard. He tries to rationalize his helplessness to himself and others, but it’s eating him alive inside.

Nezha's brothers are in a similar position, feeling their hands are tied.

Jinzha decides to retreat into mediation into to distract from the gnawing feeling in his chest that doesn't subside.

Guan Yin does give Muzha a heads-up that his brother is not lost forever. Muzha reads the room and decides to keep it to himself, even though it's eating him alive to see his family in grief.

With Nezha's public punishment, I think everyone was left on edge. Before, it was just lowly paper-pushers and attendants being kicked out. Now, anyone can get banished, no matter how useful you are.

Also, since Nezha was banished for rebelling, Heaven is scrambling to cover their tracks to make sure no one else learns about their dirty secrets. It's unnerving how Nezha (punch first, ask questions while punching) found out their secrets.
