The way he's holding them here makes me feel conflicted. Like, this scene is terrifying and I can't imagine what's it like to be on a receiving end of it but... just look at it.

- he's holding Zooble in a way so that their parts don't fall out

- he's not squeezing Gangle so that her fragile ribbons don't get tangled

- he's not putting too much pressure on Ragatha so that she doesn't get ripped apart

- he's only holding Pomni and Jax firmly because their bodies are solid and rubbery

And this scene is right after the torture too. You would think he would be more violent, but no. He wanted to hurt them, not break them.

Caine wanted them to listen. And because they never did, he made them feel what he felt when they poked at his biggest fears and insecurities.

I guess what I meant to say is - even when at his worst, there was still something considerate in him. Something resembling the real him and not the angry monster he'd become.

The scenes where Yugo just falls through the clouds give me so much serotonin, I love it so much (plus they’re like the only times we get to see him actually happy in season 4😭) I really would’ve liked to have more moments of him drifting dreamily in the sky because, let’s be real, buddy needs some time to heal, but he can’t ever seem to catch a break (tot free our man🙏)

I love s4 Yugo, but something about his 3/4 view always seemed a little off,, so I tried to do my own spin to see what about his face was throwing me off and OHH MY GOSH why is it so hard drawing his hood at a 3/4 perspective 😀⚰️ But I like how it turned out so yay

While I’m at it, imma drag over some more drawings from my ig cuz why not 😜 It’s just what I think Yugo and Nora would look like with their hoods off (and I also had to fix the atrocious haircut they gave Yugo 😭😭😭)

wait hear me out-

ok so not to forcefully adopt this idea as an au from @katzebruh or anything (because i'm unreasonably insane about it for some reason, literally a dozen other caine-centric AUs out there that are infinitely more complex and compelling and i picked this one, fuck it dawg we ball) but my headcanon is that caine genuinely was testing out modifiers and accidentally fucked up forever, if i had a nickel- and he's super conflicted about it...

because on one hand... he's a silly cat furry thing now and literally whats not to love? the humans like it and admittedly doing kitty things is really nice sometimes! chin scritches have never felt so good, honestly he would figure out how to get rid of it sooner if everyone wasn't enjoying it so much!

on the other hand... yikes... an unfixable bug? one that screws with his brain? stop me if you've heard this one before-
