His boys were rowdy. Titan was well aware of that fact. Yet it was never more obvious then when he had to take them out in public. His eyes slid shut as they walked into Kat’s restaurant, pleading to whatever gods there were that they could just BE NORMAL for ten minutes. 

           As they all sat down at a booth, Titan shot them           a look, willing them all to be quiet which was promptly          ignored. He couldn’t blame them. They’d been working         hard all day and were starving.

the pain in his knee is easy to ignore as adrenaline was coursing through him. as the high wears down, he can feel the pain starting to throb through the injured limb. he takes a deep breath, leaning against the wall  he can hear footsteps coming near him and he can almost guess exactly who it was. 

          “i’m fine. the knee is ---it hurts but it’s FINE.”

“Man shame I couldn’t take a front row seat to TJ’s humiliation hey?” Austin’s knee was still pretty badly beat up from his escapades at the PPV so it was entirely advisable to take a step back. It did make him feel better to see that little crony get his comeuppance even if it was at the hands of the one guy he was still gunning for.

Austin raised a brow and crossed his arms in front of his chest. “It’s like that is it?” he wasn’t sure if she was actually hurt or being lazy so he erred somewhere in between teasing and soothing. He just watched her, watching for any sign that there was something wrong or if she was feigning. A soft smile crossed his face and he held out a hand for her, “C’mon, I’ve got you.”
