HAPPY 171st KIND OF BIRTHDAY TO MY FAVOURITE VICTORIAN MAN
Mycky abt the Lord of Crime "You must've heard of him, given your occupation."
Sherly "oh... yeah... I've heard of him... in passing... barely even crosses my mind... I'm just lowkey addicted to his entire being... no biggie..."
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO WILLIAM JAMES MORIARTY
AND ALSO TO LIAM EVEN IF IT'S PROBABLY NOT HIS BIRTHDAY!!
Obviously, William was a horrible rotten noble like the rest of them, but what always stood out to me was that he was a) a child and b) desperate for Albert's approval, moreso than for his parents'. Maybe it's just the oldest sibling in me speaking, but I feel like if Al had taken the time to talk to William and to educate him, perhaps William's ending could have been kinder. The kind of behavior he exhibited had been conditioned and encouraged by his surroundings and while that's obviously no excuse since Albert managed to break the cycle too, I want to believe Albert could have helped him see reason. But alas, the Moriartys were too hateful and Albert hated them too much to reason with them, I get it. It was inevitable, I just still feel a little sorry for him, so he gets a birthday post.
