One of my least fav genres of tumblr posts is like. Image that looks like a photo with the comment “in colored pencil” or whatever and then everyone in the notes is losing their gd minds that someone drew it. Like yeah it’s impressive to be able to replicate photos like that, that’s a great skill. But what is the art saying that a photo could not, if most viewers cannot tell the difference?
