One of my favourite things about tma is how utterly broken everyone is. As someone that loves to identify with characters (it helps me understand their motives as I struggle a lot with understanding other people’s thoughts and feelings) I immediately fell in love with Martin. His relationship with depression and anxiety is so well done. The social withdrawal and hopelessness he constantly deals with- even more so after he and Jon got together and it’s still there, just in a completely different way. Jon’s one of the most broken people I’ve ever seen. The constant abuse, manipulation and control clearly takes a toll on him and it’s just both so incredibly sad and weirdly comforting. There’s something about being able to see parts of yourself in such a broken character who’s still being loved and cherished and trying their best that makes me feel so much

Thinking about writing some teaholding angst but I’m honestly kinda nervous since the only fics I’ve written are zosan and I feel like that’s kinda all I’m good at 😭
