If anyone has questions about being a librarian or librarian adjacent please let me know. I didn't go to school for nothing.
Talk about a blast from the past. I started a new librarian job earlier this week. I was cleaning out one of the drawers and found a shit ton of bookmarks and at least 50 of these!
rissa name association with lesbian writer/librarian for @mementoviola 💕
Shhhh. Quiet in the library please
Hey, so I thought I’d post my Last Librarian works, since I’ve been posting the Kickstarter for the game.
The top image is the banner I created for the forum, with the (as I call him) Skeleton Lord, the Librarian symbol, and the Librarian Sword. The second image is my own version of the Skeleton Lord sprite, which is currently a very small image, thus the horrible resolution you see it in.
The third image is something I’ve been working on for the Last Librarian for a long time, and is still a Work in Progress. It’s the map of the game, with all of the different regions and cities. It’s been interesting working on it, as I’ve never really made a comprehensive map before. As it’s not done yet, you can still see sketchy areas, and there are a couple placeholders. The game itself isn’t done yet, which is why there is one area of ruins and are two cities which are much more organized than the others, since those are the ones that are already completed in the game, and thus I had more references for those.
It’s kind of fun to make a map, though there are definitely parts that are more difficult than others. After I finish the Icelands (upper right corner) and the rest of the trees, I’ll be doing all the mountains that border the regions, which will be quite painful, I’m sure. Once this is done, I’ll post the completed picture. I think it’ll look pretty cool. I hope.
I took a gardening class at my local library taught by master gardeners (that's a thing!) and I learned all about vegetable gardening on my specific area. Guys. Check out your local library. My library has a seed library and gardening classes but other libraries have tools and other fabulous things. This is your friendly MLS grad telling you libraries are a great source for supporting your witchcraft practice.
