Life at a Republican School
Me: *at vending machine getting Oreos because of needs*
Guy: *is in head to toe Redskins gear* you like Hillary?
Me: *wearing my "I'm with Her" shirt* yes
Guy: *shakes his head and walks away*
Me: Well your outfit is racist!
Vending Machine: *gives me a free pack of Oreos*
When you’re torn between voting for the person that truly represents your values and voting for someone else because you don’t want an asshole to have a chance at being the president of your country.
Liberal Problems 101

I feel like everything nowadays is considered cultural appropriation and offensive. It makes it difficult to appreciate and adopt elements of other cultures. 😒😞
I think my husband has a crush on Elon Musk.
so I just got home from college for winter break
I open my car door when I pulled into my driveway, and there was this cute little orange cat sitting outside in the shadow. I called it over to see if it looked healthy and after a while it finally walked over. It didn’t show any signs of having rabies or any other sickness, it just looked really lost. It warmed up to me really quick, and was meowing at me as if it were kind of asking for a little help. I told it to just stay there (even though it probably didn’t understand) and I dropped some of my stuff off really quick and my dad was asking what I was doing.
I started to pour a little bowl of water and was thinking of maybe trying to get it to the cat shelter, I wasn’t sure yet because maybe it was someone in my neighborhood’s cat. I just wanted to get it some water and my dad started to yell at me. He said, “You don’t live here. WE live here, and we don’t want that cat hanging around and sticking for seconds.” I still tried to go outside and he blocked the door. He told me to get inside, and was practically yelling every word he said, simply for trying to be nice to a cat outside.
I can’t help but feel this is a result of him being a die-hard republican (who is voting for Trump). I think of it this way: he doesn’t want to help a single Syrian refugee and doesn’t care about innocent people, and also doesn’t want to help a cat. I am a newfound democrat, who is open to helping innocent people that need it, and I wanted to help the cat.
I wasn’t even in my house for ten seconds before getting into an argument with my conservative dad.
My uncle just lectured me for planning on voting for Bernie Sanders and I was too tired to come up with any good comebacks I am so disappointed in myself as all my responses are flooding my brain now
