“You’re thinking of the wrong vine! I’m on about the little tiny dog and he jumps up the step and there’s doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo playing in the background. He’s got the little sombrero on.”
“No no no no,” Liam laughed, shaking his head vehemently. “You’ve got it all wrong.” He grabbed the salt shaker from their hand. “It’s salt, tequila then lime.”
Bryoni inhaled sharply and span around, setting the mug down. “Did I just hear you touch something?” The blonde narrowed her eyes. “There are a lot of very delicate things here. If you break them, I swear I’ll break you -- Now how many sugars do you take?”
Barbie tucked her clutch under her arm and slid into the booth, sighing. “Hi,” she said, pasting on her signature smile. “Do you happen to know anything about Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night? Like, anything at all?”
“If you could choose between free acting lessons or free dance lessons, a dance of your choice, which would you choose?”
Ana ordered her usual chai tea - extra hot, half a pump of vanilla - and gave her name before turning around, and right into another human. She gasped as she watched their cup fall almost in slow motion and somehow managed to reach out and save it. Well, save the cup at least. Most of the drink was on the floor now, and some of it was on her hands, which only left a little for drinking. “I’m so sorry,” Ana looked up with wide eyes. “I’ll buy you a new one or three new ones if you want. What was this?”
“Um?” Dora spoke with a quirk of an eye brow lightly. She was quite happy sitting crossed legged in the corner, daisy chair bowie had made for her hanging off one of her space buns. Too distracted eating the small handful of blue berries in her hand and watching the festivities to have been paying attention to what the other was saying. “Oh- sorry.. did you say something?” The petite blonde asked offering a soft smile in their direction before offering her hand to them. “Want one?”
“Actually,” Ortensia nodded as her gaze still rest upon the small bouquet of flowers between her fingers for a few seconds longer. She was carefully wrapping a ribbon around the stems, preparing it for another customer. “You’d be surprised how early I start getting floral requests for Valentine’s Day. I can hardly recover from the Christmas requests before I’m getting the calls and emails with people wanting to let me know early.. But honestly, I love it. Valentine’s Day is one of my favorite holidays.”
