Not me being completely predictable and asking you for a little bit more of librarian!Bob because, well, you know why. 😉📚
Becca, my darling. Librarian!Bob is thriving and I have so many plans for him, including a small "lost scene" I cut from the one shot, but want to share anyway. It's Bob and Natasha talking about Norah, and I'm gonna share a little snippet because I can 😉
the lost pages (librarian!bob blurbs)
It’s the Saturday before the party, and Bob’s flipping through old records while Natasha browses a table filled with trinkets of silver and brass. An ancient radio plays something that sounds vaguely like jazz from the back of the shop.
“Jake said you and Norah went to the coffee shop yesterday,” she says as she picks up a stray piglet made from clear glass.
Bob stifles a groan. He should have known Jake would tell everyone, and he undoubtedly called it a date, though Natasha refrained from using that particular word to spare him the embarrassment.
“We did,” he replies. He pauses at an old pressing of Bruce Springsteen’s album Darkness on the Edge of Town. He tucks it under his arm to keep safe while he continues to browse.
“There’s coffee at the library.”
Bob hums in acknowledgement. “I believe she called it Mickey’s Murky Water.”
“She’s not wrong,” Natasha agrees, placing the piglet back on the table. She picks up a dolphin instead and turns to face him. “Jake also said she made it clear he wasn’t invited.”
Our babygirl has a crush and I'm obsessed with him.
